Reminds me of my childhood, every Sunday morning dad would turn on the jazz music, eventually towards late morning it would get louder and just before lunch, really loud 🎷 saxophones. Then it was time for dinner and mother would play Ray Coniff 78’s, vinyl sets from Readers Digest collection she treasured. Anyone else remember those collections of Broadway tunes, opera, jazz and more? Thanks from a new sub.

Just visited the Green Lady Lounge last Sat pm in KCMO on Grand Ave...I'm back there now!! Beautiful!! WOW 👏 The Black Dolphin was 2 doors down with the Tyrone Clark Quartet-it was awesome too! You can listen in too on their jazz videos online. Some are live. ENJOY!

It's uncharacteristically rainy, windy, and cold outside here in the Bay area. I'm sipping on masala chai, reading a book on the couch, and this is playing in the back. Life is good.

9-20-2021 2:32am needed this. I followed the Gabby Petito case and was so sad could not sleep, so finally turned on this video. It helped. I just keep thinking of that precious child and so many others who had just started their young lives. Somehow, this music is calming, as I think of children and granchildren at the age of 22. One might think.I would be listening to some religious music, but this reminds me of college days ,with my future husband,as we sat in coffee houses and talked about our future together. So this makes me appreciate all the years we had together and how young people, can make one bad decision and their lives are over. This seems appropriate to dedicate to Gabby, eventhough she was a bright light and probably something more youthful,but this just seems to have the calmness and serenity, that,I pray her family will need.
