Kenny Lofton was my absolute favorite player because he was such a naturally smooth athlete. As a left-handed leadoff hitter that played CF myself, Kenny Lofton hung the moon for me as a kid. So I hung his poster on my wall lol. I remember my mother bought me his signature cletes for my baseball season as a youth.

1:12:33 "Talk about hall of fame matchups." referring to Bonds, Clemonds and McGwire. That statement didn't age well...

Hands down the greatsst MLB season of all times. My childhood.
  • @PingHorror
Joe Morgan seriously showcased why he was and will forever be the greatest 2nd fiddle in the booth. The man was smooth with everything he said.

1:12:33 Costas saying Clemens and Bonds are sure-fire HoFers. No one would have thought that getting there would be so difficult for both of them.

I dunno about you guys but I will always remember this All Star Game for the play that Paul O'Neill made from left field at 3:01:04. Maybe that's just the Yankee fan in me. I never hear anybody talk about it though so I had to watch this just to make sure that really happened, that he really did gun down Fernando Vina at home plate in an All Star game with a perfect throw in a clutch late-inning situation. Sure did. That's the play of the game for me.
  • @califinn
I remember this Bonds home run. Was the sole Giants fan on my summer Legion team, we were mostly graduating seniors and had a great high school season. We all got together and watched, and I was shouting and hollering when Bonds hit it. ha ha, good times

Juan Gonzalez having 101 RBIs at the All-Star break is insane. These guys were such studs! Different era!
  • @nateboy1489
That NL starting lineup was absolutely stacked. Incredible. Makes me feel old.
  • @eljefe114
Now this is an all star game. I feel bad for people that didn’t watch baseball in the 90s
  • @promeitheus
There's like 3,000 HR in that AL starting lineup
