I have been noticing the painstaking work that goes on there, especially the removal of old nails from the ceiling beams, the attention to detail in cutting and shaping plaster board and wood leveling...all sorts of stuff. In the long run, these types of quality work will be positive achievements in each of your work tasks and to enjoy looking at whenever special events occur in the newly restored areas you are currently working on.
  • SIMON l am an old lady of 74 and l enjoy watching u do everything ,your a great man
  • A high-backed pew would fit nice in the hallway to cover the little hatch, and it would suit the building ;)

The entrance is going to be very welcoming! It is nice to know all of the old materials are not ending up in the dump! The sinks, tubs, lights, rads, tiles windows and wiring too, getting a second life!
  • Happy Friday! The entrance hall is going to be such a nice space! You have done so much work on it. I love the floor that you redid and the beams are going to make so much charm. I hope that all of you have a nice weekend. Thank You for doing all of these daily videos! I love your style Billy! Remember that you will not always find something on the recorder. Maybe having the camera there deterred some of the activity. Who knows?!

Looking forward to seeing update on Simon’s place. I’m always amazed at the amount of work he gets done in only two days per week.
  • Oh, my, less than 60 seconds into the video, Billy, must tell you: BEAUTIFUL piece of music you've chosen. No wonder I had the magical dream awhile back, in full color, of the grand opening of the Convent Venue. With me being a volunteer, unskilled laborer❤❤ The Pethericks & Team!!

Now a beer tap MUST be added to the kitchen... or the library :)
  • @BlueDog263
Every time I see the convent's courtyard, I remember how overgrown it was in the first videos. You have come a long way!
  • Simon's tip of the day should have it's own category tabled "Simon says" 😁
  • @marysell6184
Another week of great accomplishments! Well done. ENJOY your weekend!

Love to see a "Handy tips from Simon" icon on the video when he shares. 🍻It's Friday. Cheers❣️

Billy, I suggest putting a small recessed light in the underside of the cavity where you hid the liquor bottle. This would illuminate the steps and the low bulkhead. I think it would save a lot of bumped heads! Plus it would look nice (as does most overhead lighting).

A testament to Yanis's balance: no massive head on the beer.
  • @busterdee8228
It's nice to see Paddy's work up close when you Osmo.

Gotta say....Simon has the hands of an artist. Strong, yet..gentle with purpose. I am absolutely captivated with the Pethericks! Each of you poesses talent in the abundance! Ok, Guys, CRACK ON! With smiles from SC, USA!

Bats do make noise and Owls will chase them to eat them. I hope Yanis will be safe in Paris and he can actually get around, hooligans have set fire to the junction boxes along the rail lines and shut down a lot of the trains. People trying to get to the Olympics are stuck in long lines which is a shame. Have a lovely weekend, great filming Billy👍🏼

So, Simon has placed an access door for the propane/LPG bottle, I assume for the new gas cooker in the kitchen. Simon has some excellent tips. too.
  • @Kuhilani1
Simons advice was perfect timing! I’m installing drywall on a ceiling for first time and was wondering how to best cut a narrow edge off. Cheers!
