These things are more commonly called swamp coolers outside of the us. Basically it humidifies the air to cool it. Very cool concept but works best in arid climates… most places in the US are already so humid when it’s hot these either do not work well or end up making your ac work hard because as a reminder your ac is dehumidifying the air to help it feel cooler and less sticky
