no matter how many years have passed, this will remain one of my favorite songs of all time

My son suffered from depression, he took his own life 2/4/24. Ever since his death I hear this song in my head, when I wake up, during the day and at night it will pop into my head. I am devastated and will never get over my sons death. I want to wake up from this nightmare but I can’t. I miss my son so much. Rip Brandon my heart is forever broken. To anyone who suffers from depression know that what suicide leaves behind to family and friends is a never ending hell. Stay strong, get help and call a loved one to help you through your pain.

When I was on a vacation to Los Angeles, I visited Chris's grave and quietly sang this song. I cried like a baby. A rock hero gone way too soon. As someone who's struggled with depression all his life, I related to Chris's battle. His music helps me keep up the fight.

RIP Chris Cornell may God keep you in Heaven, how I miss that unique and insurmountable voice 😢

This man voice was so good that he could sing in the same exact pitch live, without autotune or anything, just him and the microphone. That's how you know a singer is really incredible. RIP Chris Cornell, we will never forget your voice and your legacy in music.

Came here after watching Black Hole Sun for 4/8 eclipse. Had to stop and watch this classic along with the phenomenal acoustic version. Rest well Chris...gone too soon!

I have never suffered the death of an artist as much as I have Cornell's. Three days later and I cry him like I lost a best friend. RIP, No one sings like you anymore.
