The amount of mistakes, errors and mispronunciations in this video is incredible.
  • @rwwilson21
And Tiger's chip shot made the perfect commercial for Nike at the time too, lol

Tiger's 6-Iron from 210+ yards out of the sand, over the water, and just past the pin on 18 at the Canadian open (to get home in 2 on the par 5 and set up the win) is still his best (or at least possibly tied with another insane fairway bunker shot from below his feet at the PGA Championship).

Jon Rahm practicing at the Masters and getting a hole in one after skimming the ball on the water is by far the best to me

6:01, correction needed, Louis Oosthuizen shot was on Augusta’s par 5 second hole, not par three the twelfth

Louis Oosthuizen's albatross was on the second hole, not the twelfth. Apart from that, great video. Would have loved to have seen Sandy Lyle's bunker shot on 18 in the 1988 masters, given the occasion an incredible shot.

My buddy and i were 20 ft. behind Tiger on 16 in 05. The place exploded! My only trip to Augusta and what a memory.

Tiger's 2005 Masters 16th hole chip ("The Chip") is the best golf shot ever. The pressure, the course, the moment (DiMarco close). 🔥🔥🔥🔥
  • @Sparkledash1
That Tiger Woods shot made me quote Bill Murray in Space Jam: "It is alive."
  • @kaypoots9709
Larry Mize’s Masters playoff chip in deserves more than honorable mention!

The #1 shot of all time was more than just skill, it was utter perfection.
  • In the first round of the 2001 Phoenix Open, Andrew Magee made the first ever hole in one on a par 4 in a PGA TOUR event. It was the 17th hole. He shot into the group in front of him and they had to move out of the way. It was 332 yards.

Lots of better “shots” of out there but not too bad of a selection. The top pick is perfect. Not only is it a great shot, but the dramatic tension it created as the ball slowly came down and paused for a second before falling into the hole.

A couple points of context: 1:04 Renner thinks he’s signing the winning card. There was the chance of a birdie to head to a playoff, but Aoki snatched the entire thing right there. Brutal. 3:00 Leonard’s putt didn’t win the match. He’s against Olazabal who still has a shorter put to tie the hole. The entire US team and their wives trampled the green in celebration before Olly could putt. It’s widely considered some of the worst etiquette ever displayed in competition. 4:10 Bubba’s shot was one of the hardest to pull off in the history of golf. The target is directly to his back and completely blocked by bushes and trees. Not to mention he’s trying to make that 90° turn out of pine straw, in a sudden death playoff, with a club that’s not meant to be turned that much in that short a distance. IN-SANE. 6:02 It was the second hole, not the twelfth. Plus he was the one Bubba beat in the playoff with the other shot. 6:52 This putt was more than just his first major win. Phil Mickelson won his first professional event in 1991 while he was still an amateur. He was going to be the next star of golf. Then a guy named Tiger Woods showed up and stole the moment. Phil played second fiddle to that guy for nearly a decade before he broke through. That’s as good as it gets. 7:47 Mize’s shot not being ranked is laughable. He was born and raised in the same town where the Masters has been held since the 40’s. He’d only had one win in his career to that point and was basically a non factor on tour. He made this shot to win a playoff against two of the best players of all time in Greg Norman and Seve Ballesteros. This shot is the completion of one of the greatest underdog stories in golf history. Should be ranked 2nd.
