France team has talent in abundance, great players Zidane, Petit and Thuram, just to name a few. This is truly the best and memorable world cup in 90 era.

Deschamps and thuram were absolute warriors in this game. Remember being 8 years old watching this at my uncles house. It was a sunny hot and glorious day. What a final and what a great day to be alive !!!!

Watched the first half of this match in a Magrebi restaurant in Grenoble during my very last studies' year, before watching the rest on a big screen. Zidane first goal's reaction was unreal. The tension was so palpable before. Would have loved a Netherlands-France final, Bixente on one side, Overmars on this other one, can you imagine? Met Deschamp's parents back in 1999 during a wedding near Bayonne where I'm coming from, such a pair of humble and lovable people <3

Look at both Zidane's headers. He came late to the ball and Brazil players did not expect that. I know goalscoring is not his primary skills but leaving a player like Zidane unguarded is a mistake. His positioning was on point. Amazing player.
