I’m just installing a Solar Edge inverter, with a grid isolator that can run the house in the event of Grid failure. This is a new product that I’ve been waiting a year for.

One thing based on the guy-show tangent; is a lawn the most efficient, sustainable and ecologically sound thing to do with your yard? No judgement, just a question. ( I 7nderstand lawns are legally required in some areas)

I don't have 5 for you but one thing I've been curious about is the use of battery power in farm country. I would think with the belief in farm country of stewardship of the land for future generations, using batteries in farm equipment would be a complete natural.

Regarding dedocentful's recommendations I have a SunPower Lithium Battery, LiFePo4, installed in my basement in Central CT without issue in late 2022. I have a temp sensor monitoring the temp and humidity right above the battery. The highest I have recorded is 95.7 degrees F and that was 13 Aug 2023. I wonder if this battery concern is an issue with the Powerwall specifically or AHJ's not understanding batteries or even the installer's reputation in the area.

The Microwave ovens are a direct result of feeding the astronauts as they went and came back from the moon. 🦊Riki2Tails
  • Id. Be intresed in what happens next as far as space flight is concerned. Once its viable for the military industrial complex and we start living up there full time. Has there been any thought/development towards production or recycling?

I watched Matt's new house video, and was so lost by the tec. I'm 62 and use a 2005 tower computer, and hate smart phones. But don't get me wrong, I'd love to have solar panels and a flow battery backup. The problem is it has to be easy to use, by low tec / no tec people.

14:25 Your giving NASA a lot of credit for work that was done by private companies that spend billions on making smaller more efficient electronics, and freeze drying was developed in the early 1900s before NASA existed.
