A united bid from Canada, U.S., and Mexico are selected by the FIFA Congress to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The united bid received 67% of the vote.

Never has all three countries been so United until that point. It’s great idea, and I’m happy it’s happening.

As a Moroccan myself I am happy we don't host the FIFA World Cup. It's to expensive and the money should be spend on education, healthcare, poverty alleviation, job creation, infrastructure and agriculture. We have seen it in South Africa and Brazil, not worth it. Congratz Canada, USA and Mexico. And please people: be nice to each other.

Poor Morocco. 4 times didnt get a chance. Its obvious UNITED BID. It is 48 teams that year and more places are required. But man feel bad for MOROCCO

For the 1st time in history of sports-entertainment, the 2026 FIFA World Cup took held in three CONCACAF countries (Mexico, Canada & USA) as a co-host of the North American Sports' biggest tournament, with 48 teams, 16 venues out of 32 host cities and more than 12 groups of 4 teams (Groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K & L) have been expected as similar to UEFA Europa League 48-team 12-group format.

One thing I like about hosting world cup in Usa Canada Mexico is the capacity of their stadiums. Their every stadium has a capacity over 55k
