This is a play to highlight the fundamentals of a travel. On this play the offensive player picks up the ball and establishes his left foot as the pivot. He then pump fakes and steps with his right foot around the defender while LIFTING his pivot foot. This is completely legal as the pivot foot may be lifted but not returned to the floor until the ball is released on a shot or pass. Great job by the trail official to know the rule and not react to the unusual pivot.
