Is Disney's Inside Out 2 a HIT or a MISS?

No one should be surprise that this film will make money because it's a film that families want to take their children to see. The first was very successful at the box office, grossing over 850 million worldwide. This is what everyone has to understand, Deadpool and Wolverine and Despicable Me 4 will make money because it's movies that people want to see.

I really enjoyed this movie. One of the things I liked about it is that it gave some of the other emotions (Disgust, Fear, Anger) a lot more depth. One scene that comes to mind is when Joy is on the verge of giving up, Anger steps forward and encourages her kindly by telling her that they’re with her every step of the way. I thought that was really sweet and it showed that he wasn’t just this angry guy all the time.

As Bane fed Gotham hope to poison its soul, so shall Disney feed Jesterbell.

4:33 respectfully, that's also what the first movie was about. The emotions didnt control Riley in the first film, they were just emotions. She wasn't acknowledging sadness, because she was young and just beginning to understand that emotions are complex and need to be acknowledged in order to be processed.

I loved Inside Out. I really want the sequel to be good.

A sequel maybe the start for us to have good movies again? Unlikely considering sequels, prequels, reboots and remakes are the reason why originality is dead. Previous Pixar movies were bad, sure, but at least they were "original" creations. The Blumhouse model is the only way out of this hole Hollywood dug for themselves

I liked the movie because it gave different dimensions to the emotions and what they did with anxiety.

It was…okay. Nothing amazing, but for a movie that really didn’t need to be made it was okay.

Yeeeeeeaaaah man. Add Inside Out 2 to the list of actually good sequels. Lots to love about this one. Great and reasonable next step in the story, good character design, fitting voice acting, witty dialogue and puns, emotional moments, several tributes to 2D animation and older 3D animation. A good time. I could watch it again.

A lot of people saying "Who wants to see a Mad Max movie without Mad Max?" But I was over here like "Who wants to see a Furiousa movie without Charlize Theron?" Anyway, I wasn't that into the first Inside Out, but I was weirdly excited for Inside Out 2. And thankfully I really liked it. Agree it was thoughtful and expanded on its ideas well. Personally, I felt as Pixar sequels go, this was better than Finding Dory and Incredibles 2.

If you want a movie that’s not as controversial and is also heartwarming. Watch Ultraman: Rising. It’s FANTASTIC!

I think it's common to overdo following "advice". That you put more press on yourself to live up to several standards, whilst others don't care as much what you uphold compared. I mean no advice is to always be followed. "Be polite", yes, but not when you want to connect on a deeper level. "Breath in. It's necessary for survival", but stop breathing in now and then because if you breath out now and then you'll live longer. I think it's good to be curious on WHEN you should 'behave' and when letting go. Sometimes you can miss something important because you're focusing too much on what you're used to is important.
