The way zoro say "kaizoku o" in the old version is perfect in my opinion. The feeling of regret in his voice just sounded more impactful

I like the way the new one looks but nothing compares to the emotion in the old one. The lack of music, waves splashing in the background, Zoro’s teary voice echoing in the middle of the sea.

The big difference between the old and new to me is the sound in the background. I think the scene has so much more weight and impact in the old one because u can only hear the sound of the water around them where as in the new version they have music in the background when I think it would've been better silent in my opinion

The music in this new version made it seem like it's an epic declaration while it is in actuality a solemn vow. I mean, it kinda is the former, but nowhere near as much as it is the latter. Not even close. The 3D2Y version is the best of both worlds: A solemn vow, crisp animation and voice acting, and music that perfectly matches the scene.
