I'm back, sorry for the wait!😁 Any particular games you want to see in the next one? A quick little update: I am planning on making these videos a weekly thing during the month of May. Also, would you guys be down for a "Secrets in Naruto Games" type video? I was thinking on making one, featuring the classic Ultimate Ninja PS2 games, Broken Bond/Rise of a Ninja, as well as some of the Storm games. I played those games almost as much as the DBZ games, and would love to cover some of the secrets and Easter eggs from those games. Let me know if that sounds like something you would watch!đŸ€”

I think the reason for Tien's Tri-beam doing less damage if you succeed the input is because he stops just before the draw backs kick in. If you fail the input he throws caution to the wind out of desperation to beat the opponent, thus overexerting himself.
  • Regarding Tien doing more damage with the failed ultimate, I imagine it's because the "life-risking" part of the attack involves strict ki control. If you mess up the balance, you overload with ki and blast it at the opponent but hurt yourself in the process. It adds a strategic choice with the attack, which is cool.

Tien's Tri-Beam dealing more damage and hurting himself on a fail makes sense because the Tri-Beam doesn't just draw from the user's ki. It draws from their life force. Presumably, Tien is trying to hold back a bit in order to not hurt his own life force, but failing to do so draws out too much power, dealing more damage but hurting himself.
  • The fact KaDazee is able to make this a series just goes to show how much care was put into the old dragon ball games
  • The more details you discover, the more I’m excited for next Budokai Tenkaichi. The details in that game are gonna be crazy
  • Tien's Tri-Beam isn't the only example of a radical change whether or not offense or defense wins! IIRC one of the budokai games has Majin Vegeta as an install, and when activated you can use Final Explosion if offense wins, you win immediately, but if defense wins, you lose immediately

6:40 This version of Cell was actually featured in Dokkan Battle last year

In tenkaichi 3, there's a mechanic some people might not know about. If you use 2 custom characters who can fuse. All the equipped skills like +9s combine for the fused character. For example white health bar is the max (I think) but 2 custom fused characters will double the health bar. For this to work you have to pick the 2 characters like custom goku and custom vegeta. Get the number to the right level, then fuse.

These older Dragon Ball games are timeless it feels like no matter how much you play them there is always something new to discover. I'm really happy I got to grow up with these games because the newer games can't seem to capture the magic these ones did that being said however I'm hopeful that tenkaichi 4 can bring it back.

10:12 The spectator with the cat ears on the bottom left side is definitely Rika from Higurashi, they really went crazy with these cameos lmao

For Tien, the difference between the failure and the success is in the lore of the attack. A successful Tri-beam is his altered version that is slightly less powerful but much safer, where a failure is the original which uses life force instead of a Ki/life force combo but is slightly more destructive.

Getting Solar Flare'd while doing Final Explosion is hilarious but also kind of broken. lmao. The moment that SF happens, the Solar Flare user could just ki blast or B2 for an insta-kill. 😂 And just in case KaDazee doesn't know or finds out about it later, Tenkaichi 2 has unique beam clashes; one of the most unique being Special Beam Cannon can clash w/ another Special Beam Cannon, and Finger Beam can clash w/ other Finger Beams as well as Death Beam. This is something that they removed in Tenkaichi 3, as far as I recall.

10:17 --> "There is one character no one noticed" I noticed it just before he said it đŸ€Ł
