700Hp FORD ESCORT COSWORTH Gabat || ONBOARD Legendary Monster

Published 2024-05-21
One of the very few Ford Escort Cosworth Monsters by Gabat Tuning still active in HillClimb Racing, this is Franz Kogler 700Hp unit, sporting the iconic colours of the legendary Austrian tuning house and piloting the ex-Devis Pizzolato machine, giving to the fans a taste of one of the most dominating machines in the last 3 decades of Sport.

With a 2.3L Cosworth YB unit with over 700Hp, only 1160Kg and 4 Wheel Drive, hre we can see it in action at Kitzeck Hillclimb, still with Mr. Kogler getting acquainted with this tremendously powerful Beast. And certaonly we´ll feature it again as the duo gets faster and faster...

She looked like a very well balanced and very stable car not to much fighting the car. Very smooth driving style.

Thinking about this engine has made me reflect on what I think of as efficient. Evan at 300+ hp/liter (not the largest number out there, but Big!), I've reconsidered my favored jet engines on displacement vs thrust to weight. If measuring in displacement, a jet engine is comedically terrible, but in thrust to weight (power to weight), nothing short of a rocket can touch them. Food for thought!

Para quando está previsto o vídeo dos top 15 monstros da Falperra deste ano? Vi que já andam por aqui uns quantos vídeos sobre o evento mas o teu é que me interessa.
  • Wonder why he downshifts with the lever yet upshifts with the paddles 🤔
