I don’t know how you deal with some of these comments Andrew , you must be a saint , keep up the great content 👍🏼 99.9% of the nation love what you do and your honesty .

I don’t always enjoy Andrew’s videos but, as someone that started a channel and started to get traction, I know what it takes to have to think up new content every week. I had to stop because the bigger one’s audience, the more one opens oneself up to other people’s opinions. Waking up to abuse from people that totally missed the point is a horrible experience. Hats off to Andrew who has managed to make a career out YouTube and gets up everyday and keeps going at it, regardless of the negativity.

Off subject: a few years ago you did a “beginner” set-up for your daughter and son-in-law, with I believe, the ability to upgrade things as finances allowed. How has that worked? An update would be interesting.
  • Using Jerrycans while waiting for the bespoke forward tank is the best and most practical way to go. Rome was not built in a day.. and before you know it, time will have lapsed, and the new tank will be ready for fitting, and you will have a much better and more satisfying end result. I love the ideas.. It is like seeds to my own vehicle build
  • @taurota1554
Awesome and outstanding as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
  • @AndyM...
With the underbody tank, don't worry about a filler, you don't need one, I deliberated for weeks about what I was going to do with my Delica for a tank fill, then it suddenly dawned on me I DON"T NEED ONE, I just use the outlet as the filler, I put a quick release hose connection on the outlet, connect it to a tap and bobs your uncle. I can also fill from a bucket which I have done numerous times using a flexible hose and small funnel....easy !!! 🤠😎

I love your show. They are inspiring and refreshing. Hopeful.
  • @4xoverland Andrew, thanks for your work on this video as it is/was a big question as part of my own build. Keep pushing.
  • Keep going Andrew. You are doing great job mate. Might see you one day in Perth

Obviously being a Troopy owner and lover of Toyota's I love seeing the different products you find , try , and design with yourself and friends , I have even brought some of your products like the Egon water hub , Relay hub and even Heiner's power box that he designed excellent products . So keep it up I do have a stainless steel water tank ( 40-45L ) under the back of my old girl ( 75 series ) made up in NSW I think by Thorbands , but you are all sorted there . Yes the Hi Ace will be interesting it's a 4x4 one yeah ..

Thanks for your honesty Andrew - let’s allow pure practicality to overrule aesthetics (those that love the V8 sound but ignore the fact that most of us want peace and quiet at 1am) - I’m sure your diligence and experience will produce a good one-vehicle automatic diesel tourer for many of us who don’t want to tow a 3 tonne suicide box, enjoy less fuel costs and a brand we know will get us ‘out there’ and back and still use in urban environments - many will be selling their V8’s to younger bogan chaps that miss their Falcon/Commodore V8 utes to perform donuts at traffic light intersections and sell their family members to get one at all costs.
  • Good scruples .. I think a good decision and this leaves more space inside for particulars.
  • @SamF-vc9gh
Love the new build andrew. Its really cool to see all the new products and things and how they fit or dont fit..yet. Im already curious on the choice of colour for the wrap. You always seem to just nail it. I see your going to do kenya in april with the african troopy.. cant wait to watch that series.
  • @philg2468
The stock tall skinny 225/95R16 Bridgestones are fantastic for fuel consumption. Thats one reason why I use them.
  • @malcolmL995
We have a Troopy in Aus that was an ex Maui camper. It has a water tank where you have put yours in the African camper. Made out of heavy PVC plastic. Works great.
  • Andrew does amazing work! Great videos, great builds. I would love to see him do a complete budget build series. His take would be quite interesting. Have 2 or 3 guys do budget builds with the same budget and then take them on a significant trip.
  • I have a 60l bladder from drifta. Gravity supply and gets smaller when empty Can be removed easily when not needed and cheap
  • @davidvoss1508
I feel your pain, waiting for anything aftermarket for the new model. BTW, I got about the same mileage from my new V8 when I got it.
  • @simonhjc
This is fabulous. My future depends on this build
  • Hi Andrew, I love your work. Very inspiring. I know you are not a fan of caravans. I would love to see reviews by you on a camper trailer. For us with small families.
