Starting a BIG new job. A little bit of EVERYTHING!

2024-07-31に共有
Join the concrete crew as we dig into a brand new project that has a little bit of everything. Back patio, rear sidewalk, front sidewalk, front stoop, and driveway. This job site was a mess but it is cleaning up nicely. We got a bunch done already and we are ready for some concrete. Enjoy

Ryan has the patience of a Saint. Between the crew leaving no charged portable batteries on the form truck to holding Ray's hand for every little task his is given.

Good work on changing the lives of those 3 boys. They will remember your kind gesture the rest of their lives and I am sure will pay it forward!
  • Future reference there's a spot for your fob in the center console in case the battery dies you don't get stranded.

You need a checklist of what should be on each truck. They should check it before leaving each morning and at the end of the day so they can resupply the truck for the next day. I always had them sign off. In your business, you will sometimes need to manually add something due to a special job requirement. What I found, after a while they could almost remember the list and we rarely had an error. I still made them sign off. It improved their performance and our overall efficiency. Just a suggestion! Good luck!!

Ryan knew not to invite the guys to his fireworks show.🤣

Little tip from a plumber; when using PVC purple primer, shake the dauber in the can to get off all excess primer before applying. Lessens runs/drips and making a mess of it. There's no faster way to make a good job look like junk than being sloppy with the primer.
  • Ask the guys if they know why that's purple for the PVC glue. PVC primer is often purple to help installers and inspectors verify that the primer has been applied before solvent cementing
  • Ryan... please never change. The looks on them boys' faces when you gave them a HUNDRED dollars.... dude... you are what's right in this world. That was really beautiful man. Thankyou from every Dad on the planet.
  • What gets me is if you watch Eric’s channel, he takes charge and does everything actually very well. The last video was very impressive. Then… he starts at Victory and he can’t even set a form right! Unreal 🙄 I am so happy that Fransisco jumped into the front seat and left Eric in the back with the boys 😂🤣😂🤣. Good for you Fransisco
  • Eric bought food for everybody he could’ve taken a burger to tino. Tino doesn’t go cus he’s probably doesn’t have money cus he has to feed his family. When I worked if I saw somebody not eating I would offer them something it’s just the way I was raised.

You are the best Ryan! Those kids will remember that for the rest of their lives!😊

Everyone stands around waiting for instructions. Good workers always find something to do. No wasted time or movement.
  • When the lady sees the finished job, she will realise how bad a job she paid for last time. Your quality of workmanship is above and beyond.
  • @MasterChafe
Those kids getting a hundred for 1 cup of lemonade 😂 respect 👏👏

The F150 key should have an RFID chip inside the key that works without the battery. You may have to find the exact spot it wants, usually just hold it right above the push button, or place it into some key slot near the cup holders and it should sense it as long as the truck has battery.
