Oh my. Your garden adventures are a balm for the soul. Love all your critters! No garden is complete without our critter friends.

My favorite moments from today are the toad touches (so glad it’s the good southern toad) and the baby praying mantis 😍 Found myself smiling all through the video thanks for sharing your beautiful garden. Last year I picked up some of the blue daze dwarf morning glories because they were blue, I didn’t know what to expect and by summer’s end I was smitten by the color and growth habit. I took division’s early spring and am trying them in different beds as borders. Also amazed at how well they’re doing in containers even in this hot dry weather (central Florida). Keep your green thumb going look forward to your next video.

Absolutely love your garden! Love the little creatures that call it home. So much growing and such a beautiful place. ❤️❤️

Hi Rachel, here we're still waiting for the temperatures to be consistently over 10⁰c 😅 so it was lovely to see your beautiful garden where plants grow at such a speed. Thank you for sharing those lovely creatures and the fun you're having in your garden. At the moment, we are enjoying some warmth and sunshine, the birds are in full song and the dahlias are beginning to show some growth. I can't wait to see the blooms on my Gertrude Jekyll rose. Yours look beautiful 😍 so much to look forward to 😊. Have a great week 🙋‍♀️

I can’t believe how much your garden has grown in a week!
  • @HuntleyHollow
I love your hat! A great gift from a loved one...enjoying your garden ❤
  • Thanks so much for recommending Petals from the Past. I stopped by on my way home from Birmingham and had to pull myself away! Found several things I haven’t found here. I live in Mobile so I am encouraged by all the things you keep alive- gives me hope😜

Rachel, your garden is just beautiful!! If you ever decide to have an in person garden tour for your local followers I would be happy to travel over from Mobile. You could charge a reasonable fee and use the $$ to buy more plants!😂 Happy gardening!
  • Rachel I think this is my favorite garden video yet! (I think that every week 😂) I absolutely adored your different flower flat lays were you compared the different shades of blue and yellow! You are the 4th person I’ve seen in the last few weeks that had a white zinnia, I had no idea they came in white and now I need it! I loved seeing your trip to plant palooza and their magical fancy chicken coop ❤ I also loved your roadside snack 😂 you had me and Tyler laughing at the butterflies not stopping and trying to film them, they must’ve not been ready for their close up lol! I just love all the creatures that you have coming every week that toad was such a cute fat nugget, he definitely was enjoying those pettings ❤

Hey Rachel. Really fun video! Plantpalooza? How awesome! I wish they would hold one around here. (we are so deprived unless you are willing to drive to ATL…no thank you. Lol) I am stoked with the purchases you made. Can’t beat planting a tree. Your garden already looks so colorful. I was out taking some pictures of sections of my garden to send to my aunt who lives in the north GA mountains. Lots has yet to bloom but I managed to get in a few pictures of the hot pink blooms on the spirea as well as my geraniums & gerbera daisies. On Thursday my 2 gardening girlfriends & I went on a nursery adventure on the south of ATL (I didn’t drive) & one of the 3 nurseries we visited was Pikes Nursery. As soon as we walked in I saw your fountain. I was like “oh! It’s Rachel’s fountain!” lol I got to hear it in person. Sounds glorious. So glad you’ve got yours working. It’s a fantastic day today, windy & partly cloudy…perfect day to be outside. I’ve got only a few things left to plant but I have a lot to repot. But I’ll do that tomorrow when my hubs goes to work. Today it’s a lazy day. Hugs from your GA friend❤

Hey Rachel, thanks to you i recognized that the "bird poop " on my tangerine tree was butterflies. I saw the female flying around it so i was hoping she would lay eggs. Now i have 3 chrysalis attacked to the side of my house😮. Can't wait till they emerge. Your garden is looking beautiful! Have a great week.

Rachel everything is growing so well! I love your special hat.❤ Now I'm very interested in getting some Globe Basil seeds! What an interesting looking plant. My lemon ball sedum is in bloom and it's looking great with my purple with green edges petunias, and fuschia petunias. I haven't seen many butterflies just yet. Have a wonderful week. 🙋‍♀️🌱🐦🐛🦋

it was also very windy and cloudy this weekend here in the Houston coastal areas. Gusts were as high as 35mpgs! But even though it was 80 degrees with high humidity and dew points, it felt great working outdoors. I only have a smallish garden area but it's amazing that I seem to work out there for hours on end almost daily! But I love it for now as I know summer is just around the corner and I'll be cloistered inside most days . I'd like to know in what size container are you growing Gertrude jeckyl? I've been wanting her for awhile but don't have enough area left to plant her inground so a container is the only option. However the description states she can get 5 ft high x 3 ft wide. Are you finding that to be the case? Thank you for your weekly visits, now on to Gardener's World!😊😊
