The best message for Indians from Yuval from this video is ........... "The Purpose of a temple is to bring peace and harmony to to world, and if a temple brings violence, then it is a broken temple. why do you need it ? "

I haven't seen Newton speak I haven't seen Einstein's speak I haven't seen Gandhi or Nehru speak But I have heard this one, such an amazing experience
  • The anchor embarrassed herself. But with her foolish questions, we got brilliant answers from Yuval!
  • “You should never underestimate human stupidity” — Yuval Noah Harari
  • India Today should bring a high school student as interviewer because I believe they have much better thoughts and questions

Does even half the audience appreciate the depth of the speech? It's not a cricket match.

Infront of this man anyone would feel so vulnerable and naked, he knows all, our history as well as our future. A brilliant mind, love him❤️

"One true fact doesn't mean everything is true" this statement is really thought provoking...

The female interviewer was an embarrassment...her position in the India Today publication should not mean that she is a competent individual...
  • Cant believe that there is someone who is so not fit for the job gets to interview one of the greatest minds of our generation.

I think we need to salute prof Yuval for his honesty, courage and sincerity. It is so important to teach people, students about the danger of stories and how clever people astute in human psychology can manipulate masses towards selfish , dangerous ends through stories especially nationalistic ones . Of course the value of stories as well.

Vipassana meditation is something you can't understand unless you have done it. Explaining it to one who has not done it is impossible.

The female interviewer intellectually is not on the level of Prof. Harari's. Listening to her questions embarrasses me. Yuval Harari's lecture is fabulous.

You Nailed it ! Ofcourse ours is a country which often confuses history with mythology !
  • I have watched many interviews of Harari on YouTube. The problematic thing about them was that they were all too similar. Harari was asked the same set of questions event after event. This session however felt very fresh and engaging. I feel that the interviewer did an amazing job asking Harari new questions, adding humourous remarks and inquiring Harari further on his answers which made the experience very engaging. I loved how she conducted this event. The box shaped microphone they threw to the questionnaires was very funny, I have never seen such microphone before!

I wonder if they could have fitted any more advertising and sponsors on the screen... So distracting! What were they thinking?

I think the interviewer was talking on behalf of the common listeners also. The replies are excellent. I would like to know what will Professor say on the observations of J.Krishnamurti on religion and affairs of the world.
