Some people dislike this song because it doesnt sounds like Avenged Sevenfold and there's glimpse of System of a Down on it. But as the big fan of those 2, that makes this song sounds a way moooooreeee appealing for me 😂

This song gets WAY better when you understand the lyrics. This is about the life of someone who commits suicide. First verse is birth - childhood. 2nd Verse is highschool - adulthood. But after getting married, he finds himself in a routine with no real purpose. Bridge talks about him reflecting in the mirror, considering putting a fake smile on but then quickly realizing he just doesn't have the will. Outro is how he actually commits suicide (hung himself from tree branch). When you match this story with the beautiful music, especially the calm parts, it becomes pretty powerful. Definitely made me tear up a little imagining being in the shoes of this man.

This song sounds like all Avenged songs mixed together. I love it

if you think their music are weird, you had a cheap taste of music, because A7X is one of genius musicians! imagine if A7X came from 90's band, did you still hating their song? i think if they're came from 90's, their music will be equal with Metallica, GNR, Dream Teather. and i believe you will never think A7X song are weird, and you will never hating their music because they're 90's band. their music is anti mainstream and unique. everything is about perspective, and half of people will stuck in cheap taste of music and love to listening mainstream music

I had the privilege of seeing this song live in Daytona and I was not prepared for how amazing the studio version would sound.

I love how this one goes from calm to chaos to calm... It's beautiful 🥺❤️
  • @deeeeniiiiss
old metal heads are gonna call it bad but honestly, I appreciate then going really experimental with this album and not going with a clear cut formula like other bands recycle every album

this song hits harder when you realise that it talks about a man's life, and how it leads to commiting suicide. the song's name is literally ''Game Over'', and the last couple of lyrics (Toss a rope over the branch and fall into the night And here I swing from my family tree ... say goodnight) literally talk about the moment when the person hangs himself. i don't care what people say about this album. i really like it so far. Rock On! 💀

They are really showing that they can play any instrument on this album and do any genre. One of a kind band and legends!
  • @GuiAr13
It makes it even better to know the Rev would have loved every single one of these, from start to finish! what a record <3
  • @lucapaguro2285
Beautiful. Have no words. First a rap-ish verse like a SOAD or a Limp Bizkit song. Progressive chords and rythm like a Dream Theater song. Faster than ever like early Metallica/Megadeth stuff. Calm parts and their contrast with the faster parts are pretty unique. Worth listening for sure.

This is a really good opening track! The chorus and post chorus really bring out the classic Avenged that we're all used to.
  • @zombievegetron
at first I was kinda meh on the album but then it really grew on me, really out there and experimental and just cool - love it
