Ok, wow this video blew up. Thank you for watching, and I hope this video was informative and enjoyable!

I think the lasso man was originally going to be the "mimic" enemy before the masked came. It's ropes couldve tangled themselves around the limbs of the employees and then use their bodies as a disguise judging by the lassos around the arms and legs.

my bet for the secret door at the start is that it might have been a scrapped attempt at making the interior on the same map as the overworld but the dev decided to make it a separate map with the door placing you there.

The facility interior was cut content when the game was only going to take place on experimentation and instead of going to multiple planets in search for scrap, that big room had an elevator in it that would go down to multiple levels and your hub would’ve been said elevator. It’s really cool he left it in to explore, kinda hope he reuses the elevator mechanic in a later moon

The Lasso man is an unused character but was left unfinished because Zeekers didn't know how to make a power for him. He plans to add it officially in another update and the power behind him is he will hide in open vents and his arm will stick out. If you step on it it will wrap around your leg and suck you into the vent kind of like at the company. That's at least what the talk in his discord is
  • I really hope this game doesn’t fizzle out. There’s so much potential to be explored here and I can’t wait to see where the dev takes it

I think the best part about Lethal Company is that it has so much potential to have things going on behind the scenes lore wise, the company, entities, and buildings leave us with so many questions that hopefully might be explored a bit in the future

The experimentation part thing may of had been an early prototype of the facilities in game.

The reason the door at 2:35 brings you to the main entrance is because you're on the other side of the main entrance door, you can see that if you look through the window of the door.

for rend's fire exit, i found a good method of getting to and from it to start, follow the lights from the ship that lead to the main entrance, on the 7th light, veer right and you will hug a mountain, keep running straight and you will fall straight onto the fire exit. to get out, there is a small slope directly to the left of the fire exit, climb it and go right, you will find another mountain/hill, hug it and it will bring you directly to the ship, just make sure to keep scanning if you get a little lost.

The "drill" is mentioned in the logs, and I'm pretty sure it's either a sub or a replica space ship by Sigurd's crew that made to try to attempt to escape this job. They knew what was inside the walls, and they knew they weren't selling scrap. They were feeding a planet eater. The quotas go up with hunger, same with the selling %s but on a smaller scale. There's a lot to it, but I know it's not a drill.

Some things that were found about the Lasso man; It has a death associated with it (what is shown if you scan a dead teammate's body) which is strangulation. It currently uses the AI of a Thumper in terms of attacks, but it can't damage since the function for it doesn't exist. But it's likely the Thumper AI was just used as a placeholder/base to build off of. I do like the idea / imagine that it was probably the original mimic idea before the masks became a thing due to it's lasso placements. Could also be interesting if it wrapped itself around you and dealt little damage but was mostly a monster that hindered you with rare chances of causing death... Ideally you run into him, you can't move very well and another monster could come in and get you or a crewmate whacks it off. Like a Snareflea but instead of vision it takes away movement.

There’s actually a way to get to the fire exit on dine without any items but it’s really wonky and basically boils down to running and jumping at the wall until the collision just lets you up

Just a cool little fact about the apparatus, it has 70 millisieverts of radiation and it also does bring up spawn rates. The coil heads have radiation in them so it would make sense that taking the apparatus gives a high chance for a coil head to spawn and perhaps others if they are susceptible to radiation

Actually such a cool video, was shocked to see it had no comments and was from a relatively small channel. Keep up the good work!
  • @tciddados
2:20 is this actually a secret door? This just looks like the backside of the main door, you can look through and see outside. The facility you see from outside is empty, the actual indoors facility is underground iirc, so you just got behind the main door (after climbing up with ladders + then falling back down to ground level), which makes sense why it teleports you inside (as it usually does) and why using the door again just dumps you outside.

IF the game will have something like endings, where you can choose to spend big amount of money to fix the drill and destroy the company OR continue working with them by doing nothing except work... it will be cool.
  • @yellowmelon9402
I love the concept of the lasso man dragging people away while they are still screaming also great video!
  • @DEV42_-gh8gl
1:36 the developer zeekers wanted to make the entrance a bit diffrent but he didnt like the idea so he just left it there (what i mean by a bit diffrent is instead of being teleported you actully OPEN the doors)
