The second part of my video driving lesson about choosing lanes at roundabouts.

Part 1 covered basic rules for basic roundabouts.

Part 2 explains how to choose lanes for double roundabouts and how to anticipate when it is likely that there will be lane markings before you can actually see them.

Chapters in this video:
0:00 Introduction
0:19 Dealing with Double Roundabouts
10:15 Anticipating lane markings at roundabouts

Part 3 will cover choosing lanes at MULTI-LANE roundabouts ( 3 or more lanes)

i have been a driving instructor for more than twenty years and this is arguably the best roundabout position video I have ever seen. By a country mile! Thanks for posting.
  • @FernandoRacca
there are lots of videos explaining the obvious, and yet no one explains the actual underlying logic behind them. great explanation!

I'm currently doing my hgv licence. I don't recall anyone ever explaining roundabouts as concisely as you. Thanks for the info.
  • The last explanations were really helpful. I haven't seen anyother channel describing it so well.👍👍

Simply wow!!! Never ever seen such excellent explanation on roundabouts. The are great confusions on roundabouts cause many crashes. This lecture should be part of curriculum.

Best roundabout videos on YouTube. If you was placed in charge of roundabout explanation and examples in the actual Highway Code then the roads would be a much safer and less disputed place.

Thank you for these videos, very clear and we'll explained, you have learnt me more than my driving instructor!!!👍🇬🇧
  • The anticipating lane marking section was very helpful for me. You explain it in such a clear way that it now makes prefect sense to me, I could never figure out the logic of why different roundabouts have different markings like they do - particularly the straight on and right turn on the same lanes but it makes perfect sense now. I’m always worried I will end up approaching in the wrong lane so this is good information. I’m hoping the next video (which I’m about to go watch now) will cover the same thing with multi lane roundabouts too as quite a few of those where I live.
  • This is excellent and logical explanation... Thank you. All the instructors should explain it this way

I really understood the roundabouts finally! Thanks for the dedicated video.

I have been taking lessons for over a yr and absolutely no one has explained roundabout as perfect as this video. Hope this is doing the trick to help me pass the test. Thank you!!!

Thanks so much for sharing. You really are a very good teacher.
  • This one is really great, and I have even started visualising the help and ease it would be in planning the approach to roundabouts. Thanks a lot for nice work!

Explanation is perfect, but I would like to ask adding information about indicating please 😊, it's very important for every beginner 😊
  • As usual, you are the best!!! Thank you so much. Eagerly awaiting your future videos.

I've been driving 42 years and I never knew properly about the roundabout rules until now. Thank you. I'm taking my motorcycle theory test this afternoon (mid life crisis), so if this crops up, I'm prepared.

Thanks for your lucid explanation and summary you provide, that’s excellent.
