Stevie Wonder and Bruce Springsteen going back and forth is incredible. Theie contrasting styles went together beautifully

After watching the Netflix doc ,I have so much Respect for Lionel Richie. This man had to host the American Music awards. Performed 3 times at the awards . Won 4 awards Then race to the studio, help Michael and Quincy arrange. Then help all the other singers with their problems. Then keep Al Jarreau from getting drunk. He made sure people had food . Stayed til it was completely finished which was damn near 7:00 am . Lionel was running on Empty.

The donation from this music changed my life. I was a 2 years old boy in Nigeria when this was release...today, a neurologist Dr. based in CA, with Offices in N. America, Europe and Africa - with free service in Africa twice a year in every country in the continent. Thank you!

It’s so sad that we might never get this much talent in a song again. Their voices are so rich and beautiful. What I would give to have these voices in present day music.

Can we all agree that there is a special spot in music heaven for Quincy Jones for putting together the Stevie Wonder/Bruce Springsteen duet, which remains one of the most jaw-dropping sequences ever put to tape? I remember the reaction when it first came out and I still get chills....
  • I was their in 1985 and now I’m here in 2024. Life is too short. So many of these people have passed on. In 85 I was twelve and now I’ve just turned fifty-one.

I wish we could all be like this. Come together no matter what race we are. This world is nothing like it should be.
  • @anastege11
Do we realize...that we will never ever...have so much quality in a song as this?
  • @dearmakeupdiary
Everyone sings so darn well but Steve Perry and Bruce Springsteen definitely give me all the goosebumps ❤

Steve Perry bit still give me chills, incredible vocalists, incredible
  • The doc on Netflix is absolutely brilliant!! Bruce being so tired of tour and still flying to record the song, respect!!!! Bob Dylan being so shy and uncomfortable and still did it like a champ! Shout out to Stevie for making him feel like he belonged there! Thank god Cindy didn't listen to her boyfriend!
