Long trip on the I-40, on its most scenic section, between Albuquerque and Kingman, then on US-93 and the newly built I-11 to Las Vegas Metro. Noticed you are doing somewhat longer stretches/day in the west, and also shorter and less stops. Enjoyed every km (unfortunately the signal is not always good and some small sections are missing), thanks a lot, greetings from a fellow roadtripper and creator from Germany!
  • We start from the Flying J Truck Stop on the West Side of Albuquerque, NM to I-40. Then West on I-40 thru Gallup and into Arizona and thru Flagstaff to the Love's Truck Stop in Kingman, AZ for the 30 minute break. Then back West on I-40 to US-93 in Kingman. Then North on US-93 thru the Mojave Desert and across the Colorado River via the Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge (while passing by Hoover Dam on the right) into Nevada to I-11. Then North on I-11 into the Las Vegas Metro Area to local streets. Then on local streets to delivery in Henderson, NV (Suburb of Las Vegas) where Steve does a live unload.
  • Highest elevation in Arizona. The only area that usually gets more snow and a place for southern Arizonans to cool off from the summer heat.
