God promised Moses He’d free the Hebrew people from Egyptian slavery. Can you imagine what Moses thought when Pharaoh then increased his cruelty and doubled the work he demanded from the Hebrews?


Moses was so upset he cried out at the Lord in frustration. The way God works can be puzzling. We believe He is operating in a situation, but things might not be progressing as we had hoped. In fact, circumstances may appear to get worse instead of better.


At such times, it’s helpful to remember that God sees the big picture. He’s always working to accomplish His purposes, and though we may not understand what’s happening, He is in full control at all times.


Dr. Stanley outlines seven truths from Scripture to remind us that no matter what we see, we can trust God to fulfill all His promises and complete His perfect plan. In times of suffering and confusion, you can find peace through patience and faith.

    My parents always sent me to church but didn't go themselves and they were not Christians. While growing up I didn't understand why they sent me but didn't go. I got saved at 12 and prayed through my teen years for my parents to be saved. I once asked my dad why he hadn't asked Jesus into his heart. He said when he would get "right with the big guy before he goes" that scared me because we do not know how many days we have. I prayed for them still. Fast forward and my dad is diagnosed with ALS. His voice was one of the first things to go. He was silent and stuck in a chair. And all he could do was listen. In the next 6 months my dad changed and accepted Jesus in his heart before he died. If my dad had died suddenly he wouldn't have had the opportunity to accept him. I miss my dad and ALS may have taken his life but it saved his soul! An answered prayer but definitely not how I expected it.

    My mom accepted Jesus as her Personal Savior at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs in Diamond Bar on Easter Sunday at 99 years old. The next year mom went to be with the Lord just shy of her 100th birthday. People asked me if I would have liked to have celebrated her 100th birthday here on earth. I said, no. I think mom is very happy in heaven celebrating her 100th birthday with Jesus. The great feast. Miss ya mom 💝💕

    Please pray for my uncle Michael he suffers from stage 4 cancer and he is in real pain , in 2016 we lost his oldest brother to cancer , my grandparents ( his parents ) are also in terrible condition my grandpa and my grandmother suffer from Alzheimer , the last 5 years have been a total nightmare for my family . Pray that God does a miracle and heals him , thank you in advance.
