Every day of our lives is to be lived for God’s purpose, according to His plan, and in obedience to His desires. But how can we be certain we are walking in His will, especially in times of difficulty, suffering, or pain?

Each day is filled with decisions, and every choice is an opportunity to ask the Lord what He would have us do. In this message, Dr. Stanley shares principles from Scripture to help us evaluate our circumstances and decisions through the lens of God’s will.

God assures us that whatever we experience, even our difficulties, can be redeemed for our ultimate good. We can know His will even in times of heartache and hardship, and we can thank Him for His empowering presence and unwavering love.

This is how church was meant to be. Not by jumping around and screaming and yelling but just a great conversation and preaching. Excellent.

Dear Lord, please forgive me if I've been disobedient on decisions that I've made, when you were instructing me to do your will at that time. Pastor Stanley is right, there are consequences to our disobedience.

6 months ago I was feeling so overwhelmed pregnant with an almost failed marriage. On the last Sunday night of February I’ve had enough and as I was praying, I felt God telling me to go to the scriptures Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” ‭‭I told God “let your will be done Lord”. And I went to sleep. I woke up that Monday morning to the news that my dad had passed away. February 27th. Until this day 6 months later I still cannot believe he’s no longer here, but during this grieving period every time I ask myself why, I have to go to that passage. Even though it hurts I have to understand God’s will.
