Video games, like Call of Duty, and action movies inspired me to pursue some pretty cool hobbies that gave me some of the coolest experiences of my life. A lot of technical sports can seem prohibitively expensive, but through the use of military surplus I've been able to enter some into the world of technical climbing. I've discovered that "military grade" doesn't always mean "good enough for government work" anymore. The U.S. has been contracting some pretty legit companies recently to make premium gear for our military. Not only are our boys and girls in the service better equipped, but nerds and larpers alike can get some pretty Gucci gear on a budget. I hope this video helps you better understand what to look for or inspire you to pick up a new life threatening hyper fixation.
