While I now have one year permissions to stay in Thailand, Yota, who is registered in Malaysia (imported duty free from USA on a MMSH program) has to have a temporary import permit that has to be extended at a Customs House. Every 6 months it need to be taken back to Malaysia and re entered to set the clock to zero.
