Think Fact here:
What kind of vision do dogs actually have? How good is it, how bad is it? What's it like in contrast to human vision? How far can they see? Can dogs see colors? Which ones?

3:08 I love that you took the time to change the red cars color to match the dogs vision. nice attention to detail and accuracy
  • I have two dogs.. one is the family dog (Patch) and the other is my own (Milo). If i could give both of them my vision (colour wise, I have bad eyesight and have to wear glasses) I definitely would. They have helped me through the toughest times in my life and I dont think id be here if it werent for them. :)

I can't see two ft in front of me dog vision would be a step up

As a dog person I found this very helpful and will buy all blue and yellow toys from now on. Thank you for the info!I'll keep my vision, although I wear glasses. The one portion of their vision that would be nice is increased night vision. I like walking in the woods, and when camping, seeing what's near by would be helpful at times.

Dog toys are red because humans can see red in green grass. If your dog doesn't get the toy in the yard, you can! It gives you an advantage so you can better fool your little dog friend. ;)

I would trade my vision for a dog's because I'm nearsighted and wear glasses anyway.

Oh that's why my dog doesn't recognize me from far away!! interesting :)
  • Great video Dale (and plethorons) I think its probably your best shorter video yet! The editing and subject matter were great and everything just worked together perfectly. Happy Birthday for tomorrow as well! Have a great day!

I loved this video! The information was clear & interesting, delivered at a pace that my kiddos (4 & 8) could follow. Thank you!
  • That was really informative, I was always curious about dogs vision. I'll make sure to buy blue or yellow toys for my dog when I achieve my dream to own one.

I hope to see more collaborations. This was awesome!
  • I'm very near-sighted as well, so I feel their pain. That's why I wear glasses.
