I'm trying to hold myself back from crying at work right now. My mother is blind and this is going to help her so much!
  • "making everyday tasks feel like everyday tasks" line hits hard

Finally, A technology with potential to help remove barriers and increase accessibility. It shows how AI can be used for good to improve people's lives

What would happen if this technology could work together with brainwave-controlled AR glasses?
  • Do you need an ai that contemplates the spiritual meaning of consciousness all the time or does the ai just need to deal with conflict of reason well. Does the ai need to try and be overly confident to get it's ego bruised or does ai just need to compensate better relative to it focal task. Does ai need to feel sexual and emotional or should not ai have emotional correction relative to the task. Does ai need to be swimming in irrational impulsiveness or should ai's impulses be more suited to its role. You see we don't need to replace humans we just need a top assistant. Ai should act like a good assistant not an emotional mess like us. We have taken 1000's years to function well with our head mess ai doesn't need to do this like we have done it.
  • Making an advertisement for a technology that will enable our phones to be able to observe and understand all of our lives and their surroundings. But hey "it will help the blind"

"doesnt work". its accessibility theater to make sundararajan look 'woke' for the investors instead of actually developing useful software. alphabet is strangling deepmind to death. alphabet needs new ceo, asap.
