R.I.P. Larry Hagman. One of the best, few actors we ever had. I will miss you and my family will miss you very much. My mother loved you on the original show 'Dallas' and you were awesome. Love you, man, peace!

  • Larry Hagman was always a legendary actor and director from fort worth, texas for so many times of his final and last lifetime, everybody had liked and loved a 81-year old fort worth-dallas legendary actor and director when i was watching dallas tv series on cbs and tnt, and larry hagman was always playing j.r. ewing every time. i love remembering larry and i'm going to miss larry, and everybody else would impress larry forever. rest in peace, larry hagman, and farewell. god would be proud of larry hagman in texas.

Part of my youth just died with Sir Larry Hagman. I'm still, to those days, getting chills remembering the excitement and sheer greatness of "Who killed J.R" episode, back in the early 80s. As a little kid, it was plain fascinating and I have always had a special place for "villains" from movies and TV Shows. When I think Dallas, I think J.R, when I think Larry Hagman the same. The only good news here is that he is finally resting in peace after such a slow painful death. R.I.P J.R !

Dallas used to be my fav Tv series  in the 80's,and Larry Hagman was one of the greatest actors of film history. He will always be missed and I guess not only by his fans but by the whole film industry as well, because such a talented actor as he was is hard to find these days.Just remember, he played the part of the evil J.R.Ewing so perfectly, however on the other hand it's worth noting, that as a matter of fact he was a very honest and good-hearted man in his private life!!! Mr.Hagman, you may be gone but NOT forgotten!!! RIP.

I find it personally offensive that at the upcoming Emmy Awards presentation for 2013, the producers are designating Gary David Goldberg, Jean Stapleton, James Gandolfini, Jonathan Winters and Cory Montieth for in depth tributes, while virtually ignoring the contributions of Larry Hagman, who created an iconic television character in Dallas and starred in I Dream Of Jeannie, as well as playing significant roles in numerous films. Shouldn't Hagman have been afforded the same tribute? Inexcusable.
