  • I'm a new stacker and started watching your videos because of the humor. The subscription is because of this kind of information. Thank you for all you do
  • Another quick, easy and nondestructive test for coins is to measure their dimensions using a digital caliper. The official specifications of coins for their diameter, thickness and weight can be looked up online or in coin reference books. Then compare the diameter, thickness and weight of a suspect coin to the official specifications. If the coin's measurements depart noticeably from the official specifications, then the suspect coin may likely be a fake. Another useful tool is a 10 power magnifier loupe to see closeup minute details on small objects.
  • Thanks Sal. Over 2000 slides made and sent out worldwide to date. I have lots of various hardwood models in stock, including some in gorgeous black ash.
  • Just bought a pinger. Don't need it, i only buy what a know. Just like the sound of silver, brings me back to early seventies. When i learned the sound of silver from my father in search of the last silver coins in circulation.
  • But Sal the fake stuff is SOooo much more affordable, plus if you get the ones made of chocolate inside you can eat them if SHTF😏
  • Picked up a Sigma Metalytics Precious Metal Verifier and not sorry I did. I checked my whole collection and found only one tird.
  • Excellent lesson Sal! I fear a lot of new people to metals will fall victim to scammers selling Alibaba/Temu "silver" coins. My favorite way to get real silver is to first buy from a trusted/verified retailer. I also have methods to double check to make sure I'm getting the real deal.
  • My Temu Eagles are going for the moon! 🚀🌕
  • @CDMaclintock
I'm not buying any more Gold at this $2,500 + Premium price. So, I just picked up 800 nice 90% Kennedy and Franklin Halves at my local dealer for only $8,800, which is only $22 per $1 face value (3.4% premium) - an excellent deal, (Spot @ $29.41) and about 1/3 of them are AU+ condition. This boosts my Silver stack to 1,785 ozs. This is certainly a good amount, and my plan is to trade some of it for Gold when (hopefully) the Silver to Gold ratio drops to a tasty level.
  • It's sad , but there are plenty of folks ready to take advantage of silver stackers. always buy from a trusted source.
  • Exactly why a milk spot doesn’t bother me 🤷🏼‍♂️
