ABC15 exposes ‘astonishing and horrific’ conduct by judge, staff in major cases

During my dads murder trial, while a graphic picture of the gunshot wound to his head was displayed on a projector, the presiding judge broke out into a bout of laughter after looking at something one of his assistants showed him. When I got upset and asked what was so funny, the bailiff told me to sit down and be quiet, the judge continued to converse with his assistant and chuckle. I never felt so mad and hopeless, and I'm supposed to call him your honor? Rise when he enters the courtroom? Not a chance. His name is John Knodell, Grant County wa superior Court, and he lost all respect from me that day

I dated a judge for a few months from my hometown and we would go out in the evenings and he would drink ALOT and then drive. He had NO fear of driving under the influence as he knew there would be no repercussions. Needless to say, I lost all respect for him and never went out with him again. Some judges and prosecutors are corrupt and need to lose their positions.

I’m always impressed when television news stations produce high quality accountability journalism like this. My local news stations basically just act as stenographers for the police department

You wonder why judges forbid cameras in the courtroom or sometimes even in the building. Shouldn't give that kind of unbridled power

Misconduct by people in power is NEVER an isolated incident or restricted to one type of misconduct!

Judges should have the highest moral standards!! This woman is a menace to society!! I feel sorry for ANYONE who has to deal with HER!!!

It’s not just about the memes, it’s about the judge - She’s a narcissist with no empathy, and should NOT be a judge. A narcissist is individualistic, NOT INCLUSIVE.

Ridiculous. Erin Otis should never be a judge again nor should she be a prosecutor.

Imagine the defendants whose fate were decided by this immature high school bully. 😭

I know what it feels like to work hard somewhere where superior staff and coworkers promote inequitable behavior amongst each other and if you do not participate you fear being fired everyday. I recently resigned my job!

ALL judges should be INCLUSIVE, valuing ALL LIFE, not just human life, but all life.

As I’ve stated numerous times, a respectable job title doesn’t make one a good person!!!! Yet people refuse to stop putting other human beings on pedestals!!!

Why was she not disbarred for unethical conduct as a bar attorney?

If I was a defense attny, I'd try & impeach her "character" every chance I could.
