Hints let me say its SO much easier for your newborn to wear a one piece snap up or zip up outfit instead of pull over the head outfits ❤

What a difference from 1996 to 2024. Back then all I had to bring was a carseat, baby outfit and my clothes to wear home. We did not have to do all that everyone is doing now. I guarantee that you will not need 90% of what you are packing. But I understand that youtube videos make you do all these NOT needed items. But enjoy getting ready. You both will be wonderful parents. Enjoy every second of it. You both are a beautiful couple and your baby will be adorable. God Bless you both and your baby boy.❤❤❤
  • Let the nurses know you want anything they have opened to use for you and baby because it gets thrown out.

Remember whatever you take, you have to bring back, plus the baby and all the free stuff from the hospital. Sometimes less is more.
  • Lawson, you're acting just as you should be, your joy makes me so Happy, You two are going to be the best parents! ❤❤❤

I only packed 1 outfit. Had 3 babies, 40+ yrs ago. The hospital provides everything including the hat for the baby. An outfit for me, toiletries. Less is more. Remember you have to take it all out to the car when you go home including the gifts. Remember now a days you only stay 24hrs or less now. I chose to wear the hospital gowns. Honestly no one is looking at you. Its all about the baby to everyone. Good luck!!!
  • I highly recommend to just keep them in sleepers or a swaddle and hat while in the hospital. Then a going home outfit/announcement picture outfit because the nurses are constantly in and out unzipping them to get vitals so something practical.

Don't forget a hoodie Lawson. Laboring mama's are often HOT and they pump down the AC to refrigeration levels because that's what she needs. Dad's are left shivering, because rightfully, it's not about dad's comfort at that time. So nurses have sweaters and dads need hoodies, even during the summer time. 😊 you're going to do amazing Tiff! I'm so excited for both of you!
  • If l may speak on embarrassing topics, be sure Tiffany, to bring your own feminine protection pads to wear after the birth. You'll bleed for a while afterwards. The hospital will provide them for you, but they're often wierd pads or not what you'd pick out; not very comfortable. I sure was glad to have the ones from the store that l liked better after having my daughter.

Option 6, its literally what yall are about, you travel and go on adventures and you share those adventures with us

Not sure why everyone always packs so much in the hospital bag. You will not be there very long . The hospital supplies everything you need for the baby. All you need is an outfit to come home in. Literally everything is supplied. A few night gowns for yourself, personal items. And an outfit for yourself.
  • Bring him home in something comfortable. The option 6 is my favorite. It’s cute, not too hot, and comfortable. 💙
  • @melanieg307
Take everything you want Tiff. With each kid your bag gets smaller. You learn as you go! God bless you all!!
  • When I had my children 30+ years ago I stayed in the hospital 4 days and didn’t bring even half as much as you packed! Best of luck when the it’s time to meet your baby boy!
  • @careyhough3214
most hospital will supply everything u need. diapers, wipes , formula bottles , receiving blankets. and u can take it all home. u only need baby clothes and a big blanket if u want it
  • Why do people pack a hospital bag. You are at the hospital for 24-48 hours. It cracks me up the amount of stuff people take
  • @deanabonds3156
You guys are crazy, 😂 I just use everything the hospital had. It made it more easier . I just took clothes to come home in. Baby and me.

Take the onesies & take 2 sizes. You want the clothes to be soft & comfortable on your son!! Definitely need hats to go with whatever outfits you take. The biggest part of babies is their head & they lose more heat from their head than their body. Remember noti to overdress him! If you're comfortable in a t-shirt & shorts, he'll be comfortable in a onesie or gown with a hat. If you keep your house on the cooler side, you should swaddle him & definitely @ night! Most of it is common sense, but I live in FL & have seen moms with newborns out on a 96⁰ day, heat index 110⁰ with the baby swaddled in a thick blanket, hat on, a quilt over the baby in the stroller & the baby's screaming constantly. Having been an an RN for 41 yrs, the last 25 were on a large OB unit with a NICU. I politely went over over to her & asked how old the baby was. She said 3 wks, so I told her I thought he was screaming because he was too hot 🔥 I explained to her what I said above about dressing baby & she took everything off except a onesie & hat & he stopped crying right away 😢
