Sweden's death metal masters DISMEMBER and Nuclear Blast Records are proud to announce the long overdue physical standalone reissues of their expansive discography!

Chapter One begins with:

Like An Ever Flowing Stream (June 1991 master)

Pieces EP (1992)
🛒 dismember.bfan.link/pieces-ep.yde

Indecent & Obscene (1993).
🛒 dismember.bfan.link/indecent-obscene.yde

All three will be released on August 25, 2023.

The entire audio has been mastered for vinyl by Patrick W. Engel at Temple of Disharmony with the goal to preserve a 'true to the original' sound and contains the more dynamic June '91 master of Like An Ever Flowing Stream on vinyl for the first time!

𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗔𝗻 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 - Considered one of the best death metal albums of all time, 1991's “Like An Ever Flowing Stream” is a timeless masterpiece establishing Stockholm's DISMEMBER as one of the most talented acts of the genre and laid the groundwork for their merciless buzz-saw sound. This new edition features the more dynamic June 1991 master resulting in the best sounding version of this classic ever!

𝗣𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀 - To this very day, the "Pieces" EP – originally released in 1992 - is an epitome of nasty, loud, savagely distorted and uncompromising Swedish death metal. It is now re-released including lyrics for the first time ever!

𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 & 𝗢𝗯𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲 - Released in 1993, the second, more refined studio album includes classic tunes like 'Skinfather,' 'Fleshless,' and 'Dreaming in Red' which are mainstays in the group's live set up until now. CD and LP feature the cult “Indecent and Obscene” sticker mocking the censorship troubles DISMEMBER faced at that time.

Keep your eyes peeled! More physical re-issues of the DISMEMBER catalog are coming throughout 2023 via Nuclear Blast Records.

  • I'm 48 and I remember seeing and hearing this on Headbangers Ball sometime in 1993 and I was completely blown away.. And I'm still blown away 29 years later 🤘
  • I’m 30 years old, Autistic and a pariah, and this song has a very special place in my heart because it accurately describes the agony I feel from the isolation. When I first heard this song and read the lyrics, my thoughts were, “Wow, these guys really get it.”
  • Like Death meets Celtic Frost! As a 50 year old metalhead, this warms my cold heart. 🖤🤘
  • the outro solo it's the passage from life to death itself. hands down the best death metal band. love you Dismember till the end.

Best intro to any song ever. A bloody masterpiece of an album.
  • Great Band, start listening to Dismember when "Like an ever Flowing... " came out. I had my learning Years as Cook and when i drived back Home to our lil Village at Night with a Bus i was listening to Dismember on my Walkman and had a Can of that Jim Beam/Coke. Now im 48 and still listen to Dismember when i have a Jimmi/Coke. Cheers! 😃🥃

  • @CZ-PCT
This reminds me, how i am old :( I bought your debut when released, and now after 32 years, Dismember is still in my life ...
  • 30 years ago in Germany when I was a kid this and Death’s The Philosopher, was on MTV’s Headbangers ball. One of my earliest memories listening to “proper death metal” . I was more into Helloween , Blind Guardian, blahblahyaddadingdong… This song ( and Death ) blew my mind. You can imagine the struggle back then getting it on Vinyl and lalalaimoldbambamwhateverandsoon. Fast forward to Gefle Metal Festival just a few weeks back. I have never seen them live before, not only did I get to meet them at the meet and greet but they played “MY” song. As a Fan , these moments are what I live for. Tack sa mycket and looking forward to the new album

I remember I bought this on VHS when it came out. Not like I was gonna catch it on headbanger's ball.
