  • This was from his Greensboro, North Carolina 1972 concert. It seems like he was having such a good time that he didn't want to end it. The only singer in the world who could stand on stage holding a lyric sheet & admit to an audience that it was a new song & he may mess up -- he was so natural that it was normal for him to do something like that -- it was also part of his charm & greatness & why he was so loved - - he was real, not phony or "put on."
  • Elvis Rocks! TCB⚡️This reached Number Two on the Billboard Pop Charts and I believe Number One on the Cashbox Pop Charts in 1972.
  • Oh good gracious... I've never seen this and whoa i love it...Papi Elvis got me again. My first reaction of the day. I can't believe I've never seen this video! No, it was not towards the end. It was 1972, and as you know, from , he died in 1977. He looks different because of the hairstyle. It was the 70's, and he was keeping up with the era, but not losing his own individuality and dress sense. To be honest, and I love him so much, this hairstyle did not suit him at all. I think that every time I see a video from 1972. But what a performance! It was excellent. Elvis could get away with reading lyrics off a piece of paper because he was Elvis. The whole band was having fun. He has always said that on stage he does whatever he feels. The outfit is fabulous, I have always loved to see him wearing it. Unrelated trivea, He wore a Cape when he ran away to the white house to meet President Nixon. That is a good video to watch. In fact, it's hilarious. (You ought to react to it but it would have to be in 2 halves for you I think)! I have only ever seen one reactor to react to it. I love your reactions, you are so softly spoken and soon catch on to things puzzling you. Good to see you back to Elvis ❤
  • Jane H …. I was watching Elvis in this concert just a few days ago, but didn’t see this. Elvis was just so confident in the fact that his audience (fans) loved him unconditionally, that he could sing a new song off a sheet of paper, & not worry in the least. I think this was one of the reasons we all loved him so much. He treated us as if we were part of his family, & to him, that’s what we were. I cannot think of another singer/artist who has inspired such love, that 47 years after his death, we still love him & miss him so much. This is in 1972, so by the time he did this song in January 1973, at the very special Aloha from Hawaii concert, he knew it off by heart. I love him in this darker blue costume. He looks a bit different because he has changed his hairstyle a bit to suit the fashions of the day. By 1973, he had gone back to a hairstyle that has always suited him so very well. I always enjoy your Elvis Reactions.
  • Elvis did this song live in the 73 Aloha concert in Hawaii a year later. I highly recommend that one. I have never seen this one from 72 - but I am totally amazed how great he did on this one considering it was new and he sang it of a lyric sheet - well only Elvis - he could sing the phone book and blow us all away - he just has that awesome talent and charisma along with his sweet humble nature - that is why he is so lovable.
  • @Elvista
Goosebumps overload....dayum that's just thrilling. Love Elvis live 🙌🏼💯⚡❤️
  • Burning Love reached #2 on the charts. It was kept from being #1 by Chuck Berry’s novelty song, My Ding a Ling.

I really enjoyed this concert. I agree with other commenters that it seems like he really enjoyed this one and was especially personable with both audience, band and background singers. Hard to believe this was the first time sung live on stage. He truly was a one-of-a-kind talent.
  • Only Elvis could do that song from a sheet and kill it he was the Goat thank you

  • Great song and performance despite being first time live 👑⚡⭐
  • Another great performance. I read that in his later years, he didn't like to rehearse as much but you wouldn't know it 😄😄
