Saturn is the karaka of the 8th house which is the house of death and re birth as in leaving legacy where your work will be remembered, the 3rd, 6th, 8th and 11th house position of Saturn has a strong tendency of giving person the karma to leave legacy after they are gone, this can be a positive or negative action so once it goes into the history books that's your legacy. The trik houses 3rd, 6th and 11th house are also known as uppachaya houses where planet grow better with time. There are many combination of leagcy in Vedic Astrology like Venus connected with the the 8th house, 8th lord, or Saturn is a strong combination of legacy, while Jupiter, too connected with 8th house, 8th lord or Saturn show connection with legacy. My daughter has Saturn in the 3rd house and at such a young age (18 yrs. old) is already leaving a legacy to come, as she is building a school in Africa for children that otherwise would not be able to have the luxury of an education and she is doing this with her own money from fundraising efforts.

Me too, I have Saturn in 3rd house Sagittarius, and I'm 32. I left a heavy Saturn Return behind me, and all I think about is leaving a legacy to and building an empire for my future children. If you're not here to add value to my life, you shall not breath my oxygen. I'll launch my own side business this year, I swear to God! I plan to me my own full-time boss before my 50. Yes, about Saturn in 3rd, we loose jobs easily, and we're not satisfied with the working environment. But I've learned is to learn as much as you can while you work somewhere, take all the good, learn from the bad, and move on. Never dwell on the past, there's always way better in front of you. I'm a living proof of it. I'm sooooo happy to have this placement! And I have Jupiter trine Saturn.

This is so true, I have Saturn in the 3rd House and keep getting fired from every place I work. Even If I did nothing and I actually helped as every new person in the company. Saturn did it again.

I have saturn in the 3rd and your description was 100% accurate. I was kidnapped as a child, taken for 4 years, when I was brought back to my family i just didnt feel like i was a part of them anymore. I ended up screwing around during my teenage years...was kicked out, homeless for a good while.....fast forward to the present and now I'm 34, I bought my first house, I have a nice car, i have a good career and ultimately just taking care of myself and slowly but surely climbing the ladder of success. Not sure if saturn has anything to do with this but I dont have a relationship with my family anymore. It was a hard decision but it was for the best.

I'm 36 and I have Saturn in the 11th House. My career progression has been a struggle for the past 8 years. Multiple applications, delays, and rejections despite preparations, positive thinking and perseverance. It felt like a decade of my life has passed and it was a total blank - a waste. What keeps me going is that my goal position is what I really want and I believe it is that goal that I will be most useful and helpful to my community and family. I have the hurdle of a board exam this year after I turn 37. I am hoping that the maturity of Saturn comes by then and will put an end to these long and depressing years.

I've got Saturn in the 6th house. I was a sickly child. I like to say I was raised in a Dr's office, while my friends took piano, ice skating, ballet.... In 2003 I got bacterial pneumonia after a abscessed tooth and several rounds on antibiotics, that stripped my body of all good, and bad bacteria. (I've never had another antibiotic since except garlic) I thought I'd die if I went to sleep, really, no lie! Since that day, I haven't been sick with even a cold! :) I only do natural supplements. Have never had a flu shot, and 2 of my kids have never been vaccinated. They get a cold maybe once a year, but have never had the flu. Most years, they have perfect attendance at school. My legacy! :) Saturn in the 6th. You've done my chart! <3

Wow very accurate! I have Saturn in my 3rd house and I've never been satisfied with any job I had and even got fired from some. I also have Mars in the 8th house and my sun is in Scorpio

My Saturn is in 2nd house and I am going thru same struggles as 3rd house. I work with my hands for my hobby job but I hate all of my 9 to 5 jobs. I can’t keep a regular job and I want to be a great entrepreneur, yet my Saturn is in the 2nd !

Ya'll can see the clearest example of Saturn in "Hamilton," a musical exploring the idea of legacy, reputation, sacrifice, etc. Not only is the show's creator and original star, Lin-Manual Miranda, a Capricorn sun, moon and Mercury (with sun in the 10th house), but ALSO the show's titular character was a Capricorn sun (and Mercury and Mars, crucially) with his moon in the 10th house and his Saturn in the third house. Literally it's a show 100% about Saturn.

Wow. I have Saturn (saggitarius) in the 11th, aspecting Venus (Taurus) in the 4th and aspecting Moon (virgo) in the 8th house. I work at a refugee centre right now and I am "addicted" to the work and making improvements on work structures. I am 26 now, almost going into my Saturn return in January. I hope it gives me some credit for the person I am because now I feel drained by co-workers, their drama and ego's. Taking over my ideas, not acknowledge them etc. Or Saturn makes me lose my job and let me see I have to do my own business.. I still not figured out what will happen but I let go and let god (universe). I had an career consultation from Kapiel 3 years ago but he never mentioned this, I know he had his reasons.
