Knowing he's a journalist makes everything make sense. The lying, the unfair points, the bias, it all fits perfectly into the stereotype while pretending he was getting away from that.
-
Somehow, GDELB returned.
-
🧐 You're mistaken because your explanation is longer than what you're trying to explain. The Dictionary: 🤔
-
"The plot is the easiest part of a movie to lie about" Proceeds to lie about the plot of the sequel trilogy and gets immediately called out for lying.
-
“YouTube critics are LYING to you!” “But you never showed us the context for their argumentation” “I don’t have to show you everything. I don’t have to show you anything!” “And that just about sums up our time spent here…”
-
This video convinced me... 1. That Blade Runner is still a truly masterful film. 2. This video essay may have been the most jarring, nonsensical and badly argued string of talking points I've ever seen, combined with a structure that editing actually WORSENED rather than helped. Combine that with his smug, better-than-thou attitude...wow. What's the opposite of a diamond in the rough?

1:06:13 - cool i made it into an EFAP video. Based and red pilled. im all for people criticizing me, i just wish they made actual critiques instead of 'this guy bad faith'
-
He laughs about the dummies that need a character to explicitly describe the plot to them in Blade Runner. Then, seconds later, he offers his analysis of the true message of the film which is just him repeating a line said by one of the characters nearly verbatim. What an absolute brainlet.

As an English major, there are no words to describe my utter frustration with so-called “essayists” who don’t provide context and citations for the articles and video clips they use. It is basic knowledge.

"I am right. You are wrong. No matter what you say, I am right. And I will always be right. Even if you point out every error I made and spell it out to me." -Anthony Gramuglia.
-
Dude is a living, breathing GDELB. Holy shit.
-
"Youtube Critics Are Lying to You" Inaccurately describes Luke Skywalker destroying the Death Star as a Mary Sue moment despite him having external help and with the assistance of a divine power
-
Funniest part about this episode was Ant pulling the "I succeeded by getting covered by EFAP" card in the aftermath And then Jay simply replying to that cope with "I'm sorry dude but I watched your video and it was not good."
-
It's interesting he complains about channels "farming hate clicks" when his entire method appears to be: [insert clip from a 'controversial' Youtuber], his audience: "OMG! a youtuber I hate! Yeah you're so right! That guy is a liar!"
-
"...You need a fucking helmet to watch movies, I don't" oh my god I've never heard a reviewer get skewered so thoroughly in so few words
-
"The refusal to accept you're wrong." Oh the fucling irony...
-
This EFAP felt so surreal. I've never seen or heard someone just so unfocused and off-topic. I feel like he would be the type of person who would be held in contempt of court because he would just start talking about his eighth birthday party or something.
-
I disinctly remember this guy arguing with people on Twitter about how "The Cenobites in Hellraiser aren't actually evil because they don't understand that their victims don't want to be taken to hell". He then acted all smug and accusing people of the old "Media Illiteracy" while conveniently ignoring all the replies that pointed out the references in the films that proved him wrong
-
The meltdown this guy is having on twitter is hilarious
-
This entire video is built on the premise that all youtube critics are "right-wing grifters" and he did absolutely nothing to give evidence to that belief.
