This is so exciting. Make sure all your passports are valid for at least 6 months after your trip. If you leave in March, make sure it’s good until at least October. Best to check with the cruise line. It will honestly be the best trip of your life.

I didn’t know I’d get sea sick and did with the first 2 barely movements of the ship! Biggest suggestion: patches that go behind the ear - Scopalamine!!! It’s a prescription. I only had Dramamine at the time and it makes you so sleepy. The other doesn’t! Have fun! So exciting!!
Also, if they have any excursions - book those as soon as you are able, we didn’t realize, and so attempted to book late and nothing was available!

I would definitely recommend watching what to bring on a cruise videos! It’s the little things that will make a huge difference.

Good luck getting a passport that quickly. When I have tried , even expedited it took almost 3 months. Hope Lucas's passport is processed quickly!

Some important information to note about cruising:
You do not need your passport; you could use your state ID or drivers license and your birth certificate as long as the trip, begins, and ends at the same port. For those who are using a passport they must be valid six months after the day you get back from your trip. Lastly, a bit of advice is to book your excursion through the cruise line, because if something happens, the ship will not leave you, but if you decide to venture out on your own or through a third-party company the ship will leave you if you don’t make it back on time.

Happy Birthday Max, Hannah and Luke! What a great gift, my husband, kids and grandkids just got back from a 12 night Southern Caribbean cruise and we had so much fun sharing the experience with all of them. Going on our 4th cruise in April out of LA, will be our first time to Cali. Have fun, take lots of pics and I can't wait to watch your videos!

You guys are going to love it! I’ve been on 3 cruises and there’s no time to get bored. There’s always something going on around the ship and food 24/7! It’s always a great time.

Cruises are great, so much fun, lots of activities on and off the ship. You really don't feel anything especially if you're staying on one of the higher decks. You many even forget you're on water. Turks and Caicos is BEAUTIFUL. I get motion sickness by just driving around my town and I didn't experience any on the ship. Have fun!
