8 years old when this came out. Cereal, my blanket...7am with my brother watching cartoons till noon. Great nostalgia thanks!

Love this show. I remember the show being interrupted for Charles and Diane’s wedding one Saturday. I was so upset. I remember thinking, “who cares about this dumb wedding!” Update and clarification… Weddings are beautiful things. But I was a kid looking for adventure at that time in my life. That haven’t changed. These shows took me to other “worlds” that fired my imagination. That haven’t changed either.
  • I didn't realize how few episodes this show had. Picked up the blu-ray yesterday and it's on its way to my house. Thanks, Warner Archive, for still releasing stuff on physical media.

Aaah 1994, what a crazy weekend! Tidal waves, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and hurricanes all happening at the same time. That was a with 9th Birthday Party for me.

I was so innocent as a kid never Knowing that one day it would be over, it was much funner as a kid to watch this. I miss the 80's

Ah the 80's. A magical time in my life.
  • I cannot thank you enough for producing these physical media sets. Seriously, they are incredible! Been watching the original Jonny Quest series on blu-ray, and it looks incredible. Recently reviewed your Jetsons Complete Series too - I hope to see more new Hanna Barbera releases. Touché Turtle and Quickdraw are my biggest wants. Keep making dreams come true!
  • Wow!! I have never seen the opening in HD! I remember seeing it in England in 1980!

One of the best animated series, the stories were great and not childish at all. too bad it was canceled.
  • I fondly remember this show but didn't remember that Dick Tufeld of Lost In Space did the opening narration. And holy shit! this has Jack Kirby's signature written all over it! (topped off with some Frank Frazetta)
  • @ScarecrOmega
I always liked Thundarr over He-man and Blackstar

Already bought! The quality of the HD restoration is really on another level. It all really helps to make you appreciate the beautiful animation even more. Please give other classic shows this HD love. I would definitely buy an HD release of Pirates of Dark Water and an HD remaster of the original Thundercats, Silverhawks and Tigersharks is a must.

Keep it up with these classic cartoon blu-ray releases! I hope we get Birdman, Shazzan, and The Centurions someday.

I never thought I’d see this on Blu-ray. Great set!!! So happy it was released.

It was a great show for kids and adults. I loved Thundarr. It was more intelligent than many other cartoons of the time period. Despite good ratings they canceled. I cried when my uncle told me it had been canceled. He lived with us at the time and we would watch the show together on the weekends. He completely understood and immediately told the family he cried too LOL.
