I think I spend more time watching people eat on youtube than I do feeding myself.
  • @BolasSpider
Wow..... he almost cried tears of joy at the second place.

I like how the lady moved over because she didn't want to be on camera but she's still on camera.

Mike, your emotions are real, you are a true connoisseur.
  • Am I the only one who keeps getting distracted by the on-lookers that keep staring at the camera.

Old lady in background changes seat to avoid camera, few momentd later keeps staring at the camera. Gold. Just gold.
  • In the English holiday tradition, roast goose with chestnut stuffing was a traditional Christmas dinner (along with plum pudding and fruitcake with hard sauce).  After my grandfather retired from his poultry farming business, we could not always procure goose for Christmas, so we had duck instead.  YUM!!  I love roast goose and roast duck and, if I EVER find a Chinese restaurant in the Inland Empire of SoCal, I hope they have both on their menu!

I've never seen a guy who has a food orgasm with every bite from every restaurant, NYC, Hong Kong, you name it. Love the way he rolls his eyes after every dish. This guy is most definitely not a vegetarian. He's a meat-oholic. Fabulous free advertising for the restaurants he goes to.

I like how the old lady saw you filming and moved away, she was like WTF!!! And moved to the other table.

I love your passion for food! That combined with your attention to detail really produces great content that I enjoy. Thank you!

I just noticed a person turn around, look at the camera, and move lol

Awesome reviews Mike! I've been to Yat Lok and the reaction you had is pretty much what I had, though I like your 'makes you want to punch yourself in the face' description. I think I just cried, because it was like my taste buds had opened up and whispered the secret and holy mysteries of the universe to me. Hopefully Yung Kee will still be open when there next!
  • Six years later I’m watching this video and chuckling a bit about how fancy Mike is describing the second place all whilst wearing what seems to be a boba tea drink t-shirt. I know there’s no boba in the cup but the straw is huge so it makes me think of a boba size straw.

Mike!!! Your videos are the best and I have definitely opened up my palate based on your recommendations. Keep up the great work

Mike, you've become ridiculously good at describing your culinary experiences. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you! (FYI, this is the most 'New York' that you've sounded in any of your videos).
  • @comradeboris
Yep. Now I am drooling at work. Those look absolutely amazing.
  • @AlvinShen
Geese attacked me. Lol then I ate some in Hong Kong. I'm like. Look who's laughing now 😏
