  • We are way past “becoming oligarchic society” the United States is an oligarchy.
  • @RawJewel
As long as Congress is PAID, our “representatives” will never care!
  • @kttba77
Never In History has Politicians had it so good. About $200k Salary, great insurance, Life time Benifits, insider knowledge to make Great Stock Purchases and Selling to make Millions.

RFK Jr. is saying this all the time. But the media is against him. Kamala won't do anything.
  • @5314Roy
RFK talks about a lot. If you want change, vote RFK this November. More of the same isn’t going to change anything.

AMEN! I am a disabled, homeless, woman, living in an RV, in Richmond CA. Even though I am parked on land owned by the city of Richmond, I am being evicted by UC Berkeley police simply because the street that I am parked on is ADJACENT to land owned by UC Berkeley. I am not in anyone's way, I am not surrounded by garbage, I am not blocking the street or sidewalks. This is a clear case of rich people doing everything in their power to erase the rights of poor people, simply because they can. If you have money, you are allowed to get away with anything. If you don't have money, the mere act of existence is now considered a crime.

In our Oligarchy: If you're homeless in a commercial area, you're trespassing If you're homeless in a residential area, you're violating a parking ordinance, disturbing the peace for walking, or loitering. If you're homeless on public property, the recent Supreme court decision, made by justices who sit in robes paid with your taxes, allows any local government to criminalize the act of sleeping on public property. PLEASE NOTE: I myself am not homeless. I am not advocating for myself. I've worked ever since I was 18. I am trying to advocate for those who became homeless, through no fault of their own. Many people who are homeless are working. Citizens' United is legalized bribery and must be repealed. Insider trading in Congress must be made illegal. How much money you have should not determine the outcome of an election. Everyone should know who is financing a political ad: "Paid for by Freedom PAC" doesn't tell you who exactly is sponsoring the ad. That "Freedom PAC" could be anyone, including dark money, a PAC, a corporation that wants to profit by falsely representing what the proposed law is, or anything else. Also, in our "Healthcare for Profit" Oligarchy death system, Whether or not you are upper class -- You should be aware that No matter how expensive your health insurance is, it doesn't cover extended nursing care - health insurance only covers acute nursing, by its own rules to increase shareholder profits, which could not be done under 1965 health insurance regulations. This can bankrupt even the wealthy Need income in retirement? Just One example; just buying an annuity in almost all cases will disqualify you from nursing care. It is VERY easy to make a mistake that makes the annuity noncompliant. Congress created this trap in 2005 with the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, passed by Dennis Hastert, Darrell Issa and NewtGingrich. I don't sell annuities: I'm trying to warn you about the risks; annuities are just one example This DRA 2005 law is so evil that most lawyers do not understand all of it. A court has called interpreting it as a bog. This is just one example. Do not fall into this trap and make sure you consult with an elder law attorney you trust in your state!! If you think long-term care insurance is a solution to nursing care, buy a pre-paid policy. You are paying for nursing that is part of other industrialized countries in the world. LTC insurance is very poorly regulated - again, think of your Congressman. At the least - tell your Congressman they must repeal DRA 2005. If they ignore or deflect, elect someone else and tell and warn your friends! It is the Death act- literally

Rapidly becoming? It is. The monopoly of retail groceries is a prime example of our immoral economy.
  • @miss-kat
I filed for student loan forgiveness, was approved. I have been homeless, legally speaking, since before covid. I am self employed. I am not allowed to live above poverty, for the next few years nor aloud to save enough for even a small cheap piece of land i could make my own (social security caps). I have autoimmune issues, dental issues, and I am under the care of a oncologist. I would personally be thankful for a cheap piece of land I could build up for myself, where I can die with a little dignity.
  • Inflation is another form of taxation. Taxation is used as a form of socialism...used to fund social programs.
  • @DurdensVision
RFK Jr, Bernie, and Rand Paul the only people talking about this.
  • @albertsumner7081
This is the first time I’ve heard Sanders speak , l have to say what he is saying makes more sense than anyone l’ve heard in the last eight years ! Why can’t the rest of the crowd pick up on our people that are hurting .
  • @elfabo1738
I love it when I hear any politician talk about this. This is the most important subject in our country today and it needs to be addressed. Kennedy’s been shouting it from the rooftops this whole election even Vance has touched on this.
  • @axien3159
Thank you Bernie for remembering the majority of people in our country who struggle to get by. Now, let’s see if our representatives show they care also!
  • For once, I agree with Bernie Sanders. There's too many monopolies in every state and sector.
  • The cost of insurance and deductibles, plus horrible coverage,as well as being given test or care while in the hospital that are out of network is criminal. Insurance companies are out of control and no one talks about it
  • Yeah RFKJR has this one Senator Sanders. We seems we're switching from 1 party's rich to the other party's rich. While working people are struggling like Bernie says.
