I keep coming back to this episode. Still one of the best revealing moments in the series. So much information and new skills going on here. Itachi, Kurenai, Kakashi, jiraiya... Very exciting.

Even Itachi wouldn't mess with Gai, even in a 2 v 1 lmao. To think back then we thought Gai as "kakashi's equal" when the guy could take on the entire akatsuki by himself

My God, to think Itachi took on several of Konoha's elite including a Sannin while his body is slowly succumbing to an illness. He's pretty much near unfathomable in terms of strength and intelligence
