Its funny how the 12 best Olympic team players got beaten by WNBA players who are NOT the 12 best.

Actually, one of the stated goals of the Olympic teams is to grow the sport and bring it to as many people as possible. Having Clark on the team would have achieved that goal without a doubt. The US is in the fortunate position of being able to plan for the long term while dominating the current time. By this I mean the team could be a mix of veteran and young players without compromising their chances for gold. Both Clark and Reese should have been on the team thus making the ensuring the 2028 team is even better.

Obviously the US Womens nation basketball team does not have the 12 best players in the WNBA as the WNBA all-stars destroyed them. If the other countries Olympic teams run the ball and can play a fast pace game the US team will have problems.

Plus the USA women basketball team lost against the ALL STAR WNBA so, how they say these rookies are not great? It is laughable!!

The problem was the selection process. There was no room (slots) for a Reese or Clark. Its a patreonic structure, extra monies for nil sales, and records for participation. No one cared before because no one watched the league.
