In a video, Mr Kirk asked a university student, “you are a self-described feminist, what is a woman?”
She replied, “Why do you want to know?”
“You’re saying these things because you’re trying to get a gotcha," she said.
Ms Panahi expressed her bewilderment that "a university-educated woman, identifying as a feminist, doesn’t know what a woman is".
“And they know that they will be the question that they’re going to be asked, it’s not a ‘gotcha’ – they got plenty of notice.”
