Before the interview started, journalist Shivani Dave told the Talk TV host her correct pronouns and asked to be referred to as “they/them”.
Ms Brewer said she would instead use correct grammar and refused to refer to her as “they/them”.
“You didn’t need to tell me, did you?” the Talk TV host said.
The interviewee claimed she was a “very special” non-binary trans person.
“Oh love, you aren’t special, you're just a giant irritating pain in the butt,” Ms Panahi said.

The amount of ego it takes to call yourself a "special person" is mind boggling.

I identify as a doorbell. My pronouns are ding/dong.
-
You’re a single person unless you’re possessed with multiple demons, that would make you a “they”.

This is awesome. The news person just told the truth.

Julia is correct. Everyone needs to stop pretending with theses people.

I miss the days when denial of reality was regarded as a mental illness rather than a virtue.

In the UK, identifying as "special" means you are not right in the head. And given Shiv is British whether SHE likes it or not, she has nailed that meaning.

The person who said black people don’t have the knowledge to utilize the internet has no idea how racist that statement is

I'm not misgendering you, you are misgendering you

'I am a very special, non binary trans person', I bet you are!!!

I think it’s rude if someone starts with “you know my pronouns are they/them” before saying “how are you doing?”. Idk that just seems kind of demanding 🤷♂️

Special, she's not special, in the 80's they called that what it is, an idiot.

Good on the host for refusing to pander to stupidity.
-
Being deluded doesn't make you special.
-
'I'm a very special non-binary trans person'. And there you have the problem. The self-regarding, 'I'm so special', precious attitude. Well JHB wasn't having any of it, and I say good for her.

That woman deserves a medal! 🥇

"I'm a very special, non-binary, trans person." No sweetheart, you're not.

If YOU don't care about my opinion . . . why, on earth should I care about YOUR opinion? . . . . .
-
actually, didn't she say my pronouns are they/them....should it not have been OUR pronouns are they/them??? And she refers to herself as I & me....surely that should be us & we....it's all very confusing

She forgot to say “needs” after “special”
