The banks on Wall Street allow their employees who have MNPI to trade individual stocks, but only after clearing the trades, attesting the trade isn’t being done using MNPI, and clearing the trade on watch and restricted lists and some trades could get rejected if the employee has too much knowledge even if they disclose it. It’s crazy I’m saying this but… Congress should AT LEAST be held to the same standard as Wall Street.
