Is it worth the wait? The 2025 4Runner is here and we got a first look at the all-new redesigned 6th Gen!

The 6th Gen 4Runner has been anticipated for a long time and yes, we think it was very much worth the wait.

Boasting 465 ft. lbs. of torque, 326 horsepower, and a towing capacity of 6,000lbs, with the I-Force Max engine, the new drivetrain is taking power and overall drivability to the next level. An 8-speed transmission, rear locking differential, crawl control, 4x4, and DAC, make this an extremely capable machine.

Join Kurt Williams, Rachelle Croft, and Ryan Connelly as we get explore this fully resigned platform and talk about what we are most excited about. What are your thoughts? #xoverland #4runner #toyota

Looks awesome. I like that it’s sharing a platform with the new LC as well, that’s a good sign that Toyota is confident in it. Gonna be lots of cool interchangeable aftermarket parts coming.

Meh. New is not necessarily better, but certainly more expensive. My first vehicle was a 1984 first gen 4Runner-The best vehicle I’ve ever owned . Simple and rugged. I think vehicles now are just over the top and have lost their original character and function. More electronics, more likely complications and headaches. Do they look good and drive well? Sure they do. But for the price tag and build quality, unfortunately I’ll pass, despite being a true lover of 4Runners. Middle class families are being pushed out of the truck and SUV market. 😢
  • First and foremost, I am a big fun of you guys. I was looking forward to hear your thoughts on the 6th generation and can't wait to see talking the new generation out to explore the wilderness. Again, love..love your show.

Can't wait to see what you guys do with an lc250. I would love to see you using an lc250 for your next global expedition. Global product, easier spare parts availability.

Great detailed info about the 6th Gen 4Runner that most other YT Influencers haven't mentioned. You all might have convinced me to buy the new 4Runner instead of the new LC 250. Thank you for producing this video!

Long wait, well worth it! I think Toyota is knocking them out of the park. Sequoia awesome, new Tacoma great, LC beautiful, and now 4Runner. Especially the Trailhunter package.

Nice detailed review! I’m not finding any info on the rear air. Any additional vents for passengers?

My first time hearing these two talk, and am an immediate fan. The points and items they discuss are things the common person doesnt likely care about. Only true enthusiasts or thinkers talk about these things. Toyota obviously thought through these details, and it was worth the wait..(IMO)

Such a beautiful color! I'm surprised that the 4Runner's been around 4 a while! Very cool and awesome car!
  • Having the hybrid also eliminates the hassle of adding a house battery for us folks who have fridges and so on..😊. Lots of possibilities
