Unboxing the Real Apple 1 : The First Computer Apple Ever Made

Published 2024-06-29
Hi everyone! I’m incredibly excited to bring you a truly special video: the unboxing and the powering up of the original Apple 1, the legendary computer that marked the dawn of the modern tech revolution. This isn’t just any piece of history; it’s the very first product ever created by Apple, a true icon in the world of computing.
The Apple 1, conceived in 1976 by Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs, represents the moment when computer technology began to move from laboratories into the homes and minds of ordinary people.
This particular Apple 1 belongs to Marco Boglione, the founder and president of BasicNet and he acquired this Apple 1 through an auction held by Christie’s, one of the world’s most prestigious auction houses. His acquisition of this Apple 1 is a symbol of his passion for technology history and his appreciation for valuable artifacts that have shaped our present.

Great video and high-quality interviews. Could have been a professional TV segment. Thanks for that!
  • Waz really deserves a lot more credit for the early Apple computers than he gets. He made the early Apple computers easy to upgrade. He invited people to experiment on thier Apple computers. Much different from the modern Apple computers where if you don't have Apple Care you're screwed.

Great video, great subject, great interviews, great camera work and great editing.
  • Early Apple had a great edge about them! I suppose it was mostly Woz's personality making those early machines so special.

Thank you Sayaka, this is one of the best videos I have seen in a long time. I was pleased to hear the perspective from the lady and gentlemen you interviewed. This is the first time I see and learn about the Apple 1.
