As someone who grew up with 2 abusive birth parents, she may have missed out on years of dysfunction and trauma. Though I understand her need to know where she came from, she is very blessed to have loving adoptive parents. Sometimes, what we see as a bad thing can actually be a blessing in disguise. Wish her well!

God bless those adoptive parents. They are true heros.
  • Her family is the parents that raised her. You can tell that woman really loves her. She owes her endless gratitude.

One of the saddest things about this is not knowing your medical history. People don't realize how important that is.
  • For what it’s worth, The fact that her bio parents left her on a doorstep to me means that they were really scared and loved her enough to not harm her.

I know she found her birth contributors, but her parents are the ones who raised her with love. The title parent is earned through years of love and great sacrifice 🌹
  • I grew up without my father and after learning about some of the horrible things he did to my half-sisters I thanked my lucky stars for not having him in my life. Sometimes less is more.🦋
  • I was adopted..I was born in a college dorm room in University of Seattle. And my birth mother abandoned me when we went over to the hospital. I tried to find her, but couldn’t. But God is so good bc I was adopted into an amazing family and have 3 other adoptive siblings!!! God Bless You All!!!
  • The way the Mother spoke about her Daughter brought tears to my eyes. She loves her so much I'm convinced this young Lady ended up exactly with whom she was supposed to be.

Her adoptive mother seems incredible, what a sweet and loving woman ❤️
  • Her mother chose life for her. What a blessing. She has a fabulous mother who raised her.
  • She ended up exactly where she was supposed to. Her path was meant to happen the way it did. She is blessed beyond measure.

You can share the same blood but your family are the people who raise you. That bond can never be broken.
  • I grew up in foster care from age 13 up to college. My story had a happy ending. My mom got herself better and I found my dad in my 30's. I held on to hope for my family to be restored and it happened 🙏 If you have a void in your heart from childhood I pray for your strength and encouragement to keep moving and live your life with purpose.
  • I found my father in 2008 when I was 56 years old and he was 75. He died in 2013. It meant everything to me to get to know him and develop a relationship with him. We had almost five years before his passing in 2013. I actually wrote a book about growing up without him and the path to finding him.
