Lisa Wright was adopted as an infant and had no idea who her biological mother was growing up in California. At 54, she took a DNA test, and the results changed her life. Her birth mother turned out to be an actress named Lynne Moody who she watched growing up on TV. Lynne starred in the popular 1970’s show “That’s My Mama,” “ER,” and “Roots.”

This woman is so lucky to have had three loving parents. Some people don't even get one.
  • The irony of the daughter growing up and watching, “That’s My Mama” without realizing that WAS her mama. Wow.
  • @MrSeanVideos
That is exactly what an adoptive mom should tell her kids.

I’m adopted and found out at 12. Went looking at 16 and found my family at 18. EVERYONE accepted me except my birth mom. I was the only child of 7 that was given away. I didn’t get the happy ending this woman got but it’s so beautiful to see people get through something so traumatic

😭 Her adopted mother understood the assignment. Love wins! ✨

The fact that her mother was on a show called " That's my momma" ties it in all together quite nicely. Beautiful story.
  • @heyprettylady
That’s devastating, no one gave her a choice to keep her baby and they blind folded her so she can’t see the baby. This is traumatic experience but I am grateful that they are together.

The way she keeps putting a hand on her shoulder, etc out of love, is really sweet. You can tell she went through so much trauma for the seperation.

Wow the fact that she didn’t have any other kids and now in her 60th she get to enjoy motherhood, I am so happy for both of them. What a story
  • I teared up watching this. This story really hit close to home. I was 16 y/o when I got pregnant...a junior in high school. Some of my immediate family made such a mockery out of me and made my pregnancy a living nightmare. It was one of the worst times of my life. Long story short, I almost went through a similar situation and... I just couldn't go through with it. I remember giving birth to my daughter and...she went way (w/ an adoption agency worker)... I went the other way. I was so broken and depressed. After school... I would slide to the agency to see her, to hold her, to feed her. I would just cry. The worker said to me, " You want her"? I said, " Yes"! Next thing I know, I was walking out with my baby!!! Like the mom in the video... I never had any other children...that situation was so stressful, sad and depressing. I couldn't imagine having a child "out here in the world"... while having others in the home. I wouldn't have seemed fair. I love my one and only child to pieces... she's my pride and joy!!! She's now a successful and intelligent beautiful woman... who's a mom-to-be Jan. 2023. I'm excited about becoming a "GiGi"!!!
  • Congratulations on making a 74yo father tear up right through this video, My girls mean everything to me and I can not imagine life without them around.

Can we say Bravo to this woman's adoptive parents, her biological mother, and her ageless beauty. If she is 54 or older she looks so much younger!!
  • I stayed at a home for unwed mothers. Many of the babies were adopted. I decided to kept my baby girl and so glad that I did. She grew up and adopted two beautiful children. My beautiful grand babies.
  • @tinkatikd
WOW she looks so much like her mom. How beautiful and she was her ONLY child??? Wow… amazing
  • @smiller2044
So precious how she keeps touching her daughter.
  • @Littlething41
The fact that she never got married or had children after. Wow! Back then, parents thought they were doing the right thing but it left these girls traumatized. I hope they'll have time to really be able to get to know each other. Beautiful story!
  • Let’s take a moment to recognize and, appreciate the adoptive parents for assuring her often that her mom LOVED her!! Even though they probably didn’t know her, they instilled nothing but positivity in her about her biological mother! This whole story had me so very emotional and, I’m just so happy for them and, this perfect ending! May she live many more years to be able to relish in the beautiful moments of her daughter and, grandson! ❤
  • The Actress Lynn Moody was the stuff in the 70's. She was so beautiful and talented. This interview with her gorgeous daughter looking for her was sooo lovely and good. This was a great show by Tamron. Lynn is still beautiful. Lisa's adoptive parents did a great job. God bless the wonderful Adoptive parents.

That primal scream and being on the floor in a fetal position when she realised her daughter was alive and looking for her was the Spirit of God delivering her from guilt and shame. It is wonderful that mum can experience all that she is experiencing with her daughter and grandson; she is glowing because of it. God is good.
